Just got rid of him. Climb the ladder up to the last step, he was there firing his normal gun; waited for him to reload, got on top of the tower, and fired three shots; he staggered back to his doom. Unfortunately his drop was left hanging in the air, out of reach

You can get his items if you go back there from Hunter's. It's a badge that you'll need. If you are NG+, wear the Black Church set and he'll befriend you.
      Kept you waiting, huh?

Oh yes, had my full of her. Used the axe in the end to bash her head in, then used flame paper on the last 50% before she could get those nasty laser beams off.

Yeah, I was thinking that would happen, same thing in Demon's and DS1/2.

Ebrietas was my favourite boss. Gret monster design and fun to fight.

Just finished the game. Had been acing most of the late game bosses in my first attempt at them but hated the normal ending boss. Massive collision boxes on the attacks and amazing reaction times. Was the only bad bit in the whole game. The true ending boss was a piece of cake which is ironic when you consider what they both are.

Flame Paper could help, I should have thought of that myself.

Ebritas is the only boss that has given me actual trouble. I'm still working on a proper method to win.

Gherman is just Father G, but twice as easy. It's all about your riposte skills. I need to tackle the true end boss this time around. That should net me the platinum so I can move onto Dark Souls II on the 9th.

Was on DS 2 early on. The bosses seem so damn slow

Finished my second playthrough just now.

I finished my first this morning.

I ran through the entire game again in a day...in my defense, just doing the main story bosses is really quick- only doing the BSB to gain access to the abandoned workshop. I missed a third umbilical cord on my first go, and didn't get the true ending because of it- so this time I did. I agree, the final, final boss is a pushover in comparison to the preceding one. I had 6 HP vials left from the fight before and barely touched them.

Exactly. I can see this turning into Resident Evil 2 levels of rinsage after the first run is out of the way.

The first run is always about atmosphere and exploration, every other run after that is like the assault course from The Krypton Factor.

Cheers, I will give it a blast later. Bloody good game this, a bit more manageable than Dark Souls 2 for me!

I feel my first time capturing in-game footage has been well spent. Warning, giant pig getting my weapon inserted into...

Started this last night. Love the new more aggressive play mechanic, especially the very clever idea of the firearm as a kind of dynamic shield. I magicked my way through Demons, and Miracle-Tanked my way through both Darks, so this close quarters quick playstyle is very refreshing. I created an old gent as my character so took the rather feeble cane as my weapon. Was delighted to find it alts into

                              a Belmontian serrated whip

. My fave thing so far are the messengers, though. Well cute. Want a plushy

Ebritas is driving me crazy. I must have fought her about 25 times.
