Yeah PvP is annoying. Whenever I am invaded now I just exit the game. Benefits of the auto save system mean you start exactly where you were when you quit, not back at the lamp.

Acidentally beat
Blood Starved Beast
on first try. Expecting the worst I
summoned Albert, hoping to buy a bit of extra time just to work out patterns before the inevitable dying, and remembering how utterly hapless companion AI was in previous Souls games. Usually they'd wander off a cliff before reaching the boss. Anyhow, we splatted him and even Albert survived. I had very high poison defence, repeating pistol and +4 and whip at +4 for distance attack and that was that. Foolish beast spent much of his time jumping into pillar and face planting them, swinging away.
Could do with seeing a bit more variety in bosses now. So far I'm finding this game is way inferior to Demons in that regard. All I've seen is a bunch of variants on
werewolves
.

I'm done with Bloodborne now and for the most part loved every minute. My gripes - very little variety in build types, a great deal of pointless armour, and the new health system. Bloodborne is the first Souls type game that forced me into doing something I didn't want to do and grinding for health vials and/or bullets. Not often, and less towards the end and NG+, but enough to grate. I also preferred the old life/death mechanic and how it worked with boss fights and pvp. Otherwise, character and creature design, setting, gameplay, weapons - all bloody brilliant
If From can take Bloodborne and marry it with the build options from the previous games - I really wanted to make an uber agile, pistol and cane wielding victorian gent - it would be epic.Last edited by H-Man; 15-04-2015, 11:41.

That worked for me later in the game and in NG+, which pretty much just throws money at you, but for the first few areas I was having to go grinding for health more often than I'd like. Not a massive issue, especially as you level up (it actually seems very easy in Bloodborne to overlevel and end up with so much hp that bosses become a cake walk), but when things are tough and money is short, it's not the best solution.

I had half that energy at these fights as I was putting souls into skill, strength, vitality, and stamina in equal measures I suppose this is what's called tanking it.

i can't find Eileen anymore since i missed to help her out in the fight with another hunter. is she gone for the rest of the game now?

had my fill of pvp'ers, so when they do spawn(until I find the caller) I back off down a narrow place and hit them with the cannon, 4/4 with that technique
Went back to Martyr L and still couldn't solo him at 80.. something about those melee hit that stuns you just a fraction, stop you rolling away. In the end I call for help and pummelled him, hurray!
