Naw, just pay the amount you want to pay to PayPal, that's fine. Shipping is $5. Figure on the game being $22 with tax and shipping of $5. That's all, bro.

I guess what I'm asking is, if I find one, should I go ahead and buy it since it might not be there later? Or, do I let you know, and then you tell me whether or not to get it for you. I only ask because at this price, and with UbiSoft no longer pressing new disks, these might become pretty scarce quickly.

Well, just completed it - I found it a little bit short - took me less than 15 hours. I got most of the animals and pearls, and got the hovercraft race championship.
I enjoyed it. A lot of different game styles, which mixed well together. It's what Starfox Adventures should have been.
I especially liked the cinematic feel and the score, I thought, was one of the best I've heard in ages.
About the ending:
Originally posted by spoilerI thought the end boss was pretty easy - only the last part with the reverse controls caught me out a little. You must definitely watch through the credits at the end. There's a short clip with Pey'J that might leaving you wondering if there will be a BGE2

Marty

Yep a quality game. I havent felt so involved and absorbed by a game like this for some time. Glad i got it for ?15, though i feel sorry for Ubisoft who must be a bit gutted by the sales of this and PoP. If they go bust will i ever be annoyed at the fickle gaming public and the big pimping developers!
Originally posted by spoilerregarding Pey'J and the credits; it's a pretty poor hook, as surely either 1) Jade can heal him with her new found super-powers or 2) another IRIS cell would have an antidote such as they gave HH. Only that cell had used up its last shot IIRC

Originally posted by JRMacumberI went to Best Buy today and found that they have Beyond Good And Evil for the Xbox for only $19.99.
I don't even want to start it yet as I've too many others to finish; I simply didn't want to miss out, so bought it before they disappear forever.
I'm going to go ahead and say that 33% of the reason this isn't selling is down to the packaging. Front: athletically proportioned lady holding large, poorly drawn Fisher Price camera. Back: vague descriptions ("infiltrate and investigate to expose your government's lies" etc.) supported by screenshots that only really tell you this lady often holds a stick, meets a pig man, encounters at least three prickly centipedey things and looks round corners.
Odd that Ubi declared total war on my TV with PoP ads during the run up to Christmas (every... single... ad break...), but never once did I see a BG&E spot.
If I was an ordinary punter who hadn't been hearing about it for a year, with nothing to go on but the big kiddie camera, the wooden stick and the centipedey things depicted on the box, I'd have left it well alone myself.
Best Buy has also knocked MI Operation Surma down to $29.99.
Anyway, cheers JR.

I'm glad you got it. Two people here had me purchase this for them, and while there were still a couple Xbox versions left, I grabbed up the very last Gamecube version they had. I had previously called several Gamestop's, and none of them had any. I was sweatin' it for a bit. Luckily, I got what all I needed. I'm glad you did too.

The Xbox version of Beyond Good & Evil is scheduled now for March in Europe, and will probably be released at full price. I can understand why they're releasing it late because Ubisoft obviously wants to miss the post-Christmas slump as much as possible. That still doesn't make this a nice pill to swallow though.
They really messed up signing that exclusivity agreement with Sony. There's no way the other format releases of this and Prince Of Persia are going to sell in any significant numbers for ?40 when their PS2 counterparts are selling for pitance. I just got a ?10 voucher from GAME in the post, meaning I can effectively now pick up Beyond Good & Evil for ?10.
Too good to refuse then - PS2 version it is...
Impressions later.

I just hope all of this doesn't damage any plans for sequels/continuations of either game.
