I'll still be waitin to nxt Wednesday for my copy i think. Slow down seems very apparent on Wide angle as far as i've heard. I use short tho so that's o.k, lots of Radar usage tho.

yeah radar is essential for me too. I like the closer angle since i find i can get more sweeter goals and some ace speedy short passing .
I wonder why theres apparently a lot of slowdown this time round? (id imagine that will be fixed for the 'international' version)
Kcet pressed too hard possibly? are they handling the xbox version too?

Just speaking with a chap over at the DVDForums and his copy has been delivered via EMS already!

I don't think I've ever heard of EMS being next-day from Hong Kong.

How are the files not standard PS2 save files?!?

I think this is something to do with how the device stores it between PC and PS2.

Therefore if the saves available for download are from X-Port, you won't be able to put it on your PS2 via this new Max Drive thing.

Which is a bit of an arse. Can anyone clear up if these files can be converted to suit which ever device you have?

He did and EMS is the expensive shipping option, more so than TNT if I recall correctly.

EDIT - Just spoke to TNT to arrange a suitable delivery time tomorrow and was told that strangely, the package was down for a 5th August delivery, which was quite unusual since anything that comes in goes out next-day.

Anyone who is expecting their copy from TNT might want to ring to confirm that'll it be delivered tomorrow.

I'll have to do without option files etc for now. My day trauling for a usb device has been unfruitful. I think I'll get an X-Port as and when I can find one. I presume it will remain the standard for WE saves as its been there from the start.

Once theres a full player option file knocking about I'll throw my memory card your way Bleeders as we discussed

Now if we substitute WE8 in place of WE7I in the second post, is it possible we could get one of the updated WE8 files working?

ie.
Get a WE8 save onto your MC (need the game obviously)
Burn a boot CD (from files in the second post), and also put new WE8 save on the CD (?)
...
...

I can't quite follow it at the moment but I'll have another read through and I'm pretty sure thats whats possible.


If anyone else can shed more light, please go ahead.
