Vagrant Story - After creating some bad-ass weapons, I was very quick to start again. The story was worth another play through due to it's excellence, but the chance to have my revenge on the earlier enemies in the game was too good to give up (however to my dismay, I got totally lost, due to the unlockable dungeon shortcuts...bah!)

Zone of the Enders 2 - Same as above really, having Jehuty with all sub weapons was such a rush. Particually after spending half the game in an orbital frame that was supposed to match Anubis, but got in to trouble when faced with 4 or more enemies.

Oh and Dynasty Warriors 3/4 - One game that's never really over in my veiw, somehow I never get tired of crushing thousands of Peons.

man, i can't believe anyone would spend the time getting to the end of ocarina and not finish it! what did you find so hard? ganon i'm guessing, yeah?
well just tell me you've beaten him subsequently! he's really not that tough, now, is he?
because the ending's so good i've replayed that fight countless times, and not once has he beaten me since the first win...just a knack!

        that must be :
        - Turrican2 (amiga), I was totally addicted to it back then
        - Yoshi's Island (snes)
        - SuperMario64 (N64): most amazing platform game ever, I have 3 save files with 120 stars and 1 with 119 stars
        - Resident Evil (PS) : first completed it with Jill and after with Chris.
        - Metal Gear Solid (PS): short but sweet
        - Goldeneye (N64) : unlocked all the cheat codes
        - Perfect Dark (N64) : got almost all cheat codes
        - Halo : no comment needed, played it first on Heroic and after that on the mighty Legendary (twice already).
        - Ico : 2x
        - Ninja Gaiden, now started on hard

Mario 64 for me as well, too.

It wasn't just because releases were slow, either. I got to the end of that game and felt like a kid whose just come off an exhilirating ride at a fun fair; "Wow, that was cool! I want to do it again!"

All this recent talk of Super Mario 64 is tempting me to start it again...

I still think it's one of the best examples of how to do a 3D platform game. The level of control available hasn't aged at all, and as much as I love The Sands of Time, I still think Mario 64 is the best example of how to control a character to date.

The only problem is the N64 joypad's analogue stick and it's habit of completely disintegrating over the years... I can barely move all three of my pads with any precision anymore. :/

EDIT - Never mind. That would have added nothing to this thread. Damn Mario 64.

None. Whenever I complete a game I need to take a few minutes to compose myself. Maybe get a brew or have a relax for a little bit.

Final Bosses really get to me. I always end up getting really tense and biting the crap out of my lip in anxiety.

Still I did start KOTOR, FFVII, SMS, HALO, PoP, and Half-life again a little after completion in the last few years... so there we go.
