Bought 4 games ps2 games today from Gamestation, costing ?18 then traded them for DMC 3 with the Game offer paid 99p
I think it would be wise to horde any cheap sub ?5 games obviously not sports or wrestling for whenever they decide to run their offer again, I am sure it won't be long, especially with the summer hols approaching, that seems a likely time for them to be doing this.

Can someone confirm this offer runs until the first week in April and has not expired on the 31st of March? According to some posters it is still going strong depending on the region of your shop. Also is it now five games as the official GAME website stipulates or have they still just been taking four?

I allways buy any new current gen game that isn't sports I see for under ?3 and every pre-owned non sports game I see for under ?2 in waiting for these offers. Plus, you get to play games that you normally wouldn't like The Thing which wasn't all that bad for 99p to be honest.

EDIT: should say I picked up about my 5th game yesterday: Oddworld strangers wrath.

So I walked in today over lunch and saw all the "swap 4 games get this for 99p stickers" over a nice selection of new games.

When I asked at the desk if the offer was still running until next week even though it stated in the small print that it finished on the 6th of April I wanted confirmation, I was given the rather dubious response of "Oh I'm sorry it finished just yesterday" which seemed rather timely especially as it was only the 30th today.

I'm thinking that this manager has been stung by this deal quite a bit and has pulled the plug for some reason.

tbh, i think GForce is getting pretty poor these days. b4, they used 2 have loads of imports etc. , but now, everything is just overpriced.
the only reason i go in there is 'cause the staff r always really friendly and helpful.

Bloody shame to hear about G-Force I LOVED that shop, I moved outta glasgow about 4 years ago, they used to do ****loadsa imports and cool stuff, always went there over CA Games, last time i was there CA Games is HUGE now i remember it just being a wee tiny bit inside the arcade, shoebox size.
I had been shopping at that G-Force for about well around 10 years, remember when they used to stock ALL neo geo games and pc engine loads of em, also me and my friend used to go in there all the time and dual on Windjammers when they had the neo geo arcades in the back, that got changed into a PC Fix Bit.
Genreally thought they had good 2nd hand import prices, then again that was before I left. Also a Gamestation has opened since i have been away man how time flies, always loved and now miss the glasgow games scene.

As for the GAME offer we know it will rear its head again, I am gonna be stockpiling any really cheap arsed 2nd hand game I see for a future purge.

Birmingham Gamestation were doing a very handy 4 for ?20 deal on really ****ty brand new games. No of which were sports or wrestling. I lumped on to try DMC3. If I don't like it, just try to exchange the thing for Paper Mario 2. Nearly as good as the fat assistant dropping one of the game discs on the floor as he checked for scratches

yrah, it was quite a pity for them really, when gamestation opened. before, the neares shop was GAME buchanan st., but now there's 3 GAMES in the town, and a GIANT gamestation on the same street. bad luck, eh?
