Game's Current Trade in Deal

My Game tried to play down the entire deal, almost acting surprised when I said I wanted the '99p deal' rather than trade in 4 worthless games for Disgaea and pay the remaining ?30-whatever). The guy behind the counter also seemed incredibly pissed off that I used the deal, especially when I asked when the deal ended. I got the impression that this particular store was told the deal would only last until today, however now they are unsure when it will end.

My Fantavision scanned in at ?40, amazingly enough.

I'll probably go hunting later on in the week for some bargins as I've ran out of cheap PAL games, although there isn't anything else I want at the moment!

if you have a local gamestation they do 'mega bundles' of 4 games for at most ?17 (stuff like Pro Evo 1, Fifa 2002 etc) - so you are getting games for around half price

I've got the PS2 versions of GTA III, Vice City (own the Xbox double pack), PS2 Half-Life (own the PC version now) and PGR (see little point of it in light of PGR2) ready to take down.

i think some stores wish it was finished today - they have been getting stung over with the ****test games ever (all of Gamestations unsellable stock)

i really don't know what Game where thinking of with this promotion - Hoover's 'flights to New York' debacle springs to mind

The Exeter stores are oblivious. I managed to buy 4 ?3 games from RadioParts and forgot to take the label off one of them. When I handed them in to trade the guy looked straight at it... then ignored it and put it through.

Got Rallisport 2 and EyeToy: Play so far. FFX-2 tommorow pretty much finishes off my last cash reserves.

Hehe, I went an bought 15 2.99 games this morning from my mates GAME just outside Glasgow with the intention to hammer the 4 stores in the city centre. Went to the first and the guy relaised I had been in twice over the weekend and said it was 1 offer per customer, so I made my way to the next store and sent my mate in, when he got to the counter he heard the manager on the phone being given my description

They had phoned round all the stores to stop me going in. My mate still managed to do it once after a bit of an argument but we didnt bother with the other stores.

I'll have to dig out my best disguise and try again tomorrow.

Went to Birmingham. Go to Gamestation. Get four games (I can't even remember what they were). Make the 30 second walk to game. Get Ninja Gaiden.

I didn't even take the stickers off, or get them out the Gamestation bag. Score! As a side note, Gamestation seemed to be running low on really cheap games. The people behind the counter also had huge grins on their faces. They must be racking in the cash, and getting rid of all the crappy stock.

I was asked to put my signature and address on the trade in form, but then I can't think of any other PAL games I want. The offer is 1 per customer, as it says so on the website.

g-funk there's having a bit of fun and doing it once or twice and being ok with it but dont you think your taking it a bit far? There's 2 GAME stores in my town so i am ok with doing it twice but anymore and it gets a bit out of hand no?

Btw the same deal is going down in the US currently so I hear and plenty of people are doing exactly the same thing. Only difference is they have a huge number of stores compared to us where to grab cheap worthless games from
