      chips and import

My current hardware is as follows

UK normal X-box (incase I eventually go live)
      UK chipped X-box
      UK normal PS2
US normal PS2 (brought mainly for RPG's)
      UK normal GC with Freeloader
      UK normal Dreamcast
      HK region free Treamcast
UK normal Playstation 1 (with boot disk)
      UK normal N64 and Snes

Not a big fan of boot disks and plan on getting a modded Jap Gamecube soon. Only games in current generation I cant play are Jap PS2 games. Prefer import machines over chips and will buy all next gen machines from the US or Jap first.

Just wondering, for those of you that have US consoles, where did you get them from?

Various places. I bought my US N64 at launch from a company advertising in the back of Edge, my first US XBox from Ebay, and my second US XBox and my US SNES from a people on these forums. I shop around.

            Ok lets see, I have

1 USA Xbox (Bought at launch in the states)
2 UK Xbox (Bought secondhand for cheap games)
3 USA/JPN GC (Bought secondhand off VGI mainly for Resi)
4 UK GC (Bought at launch. Was gonna stick with pal for the GC)
5 JPN PS2 (Bought to replace my pal version which I sold to my Bro)
6 UK PS2 (Couldn't really do without one)
7 USA PS2 (As cheap as getting one of the others modded by now)
8 JPN Dreamcast (got this one Modded)
            9 UK Dreamcast (Cheap backup)
10 USA N64 (modded for JPN play)

            Plus handfulls of older consoles.

US SNES, with a double slot thingy to play UK games
              UK PlayStation, chipped
              UK Xbox, unchipped
              UK PS2, chipped
              US Gamecube, non-modded
UK Dreamcast, with free covermount region select disk. Although I dl autoboot ROMs of foreign games I have bought so i don't have to swap disks.

For the DC and GC I use boot discs but I've imported my PS2's. I've got the Asian PS2 from PA, (highly recommended), the US one was brought over by a relative flight attendant. The XBox is Pal and unmodded.
