    Rise of The Robots.

    Now seriously...

    Stunt Car Racer.
    Sensible World Of Soccer.
    ISS '98.
    Secret Of Mana.
The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past
    Super Tennis.

To name a very small few that come to mind right, at, this, moment.

The original Sonic The Hedgehog's still brilliant to play today along side most, if not all, the Sonic series on the Mega Drive. - For example, they were resurrected on the GameCube; The Sonic Mega Collection.

Also, I was playing Yoshi's Island the other day, and it's still highly addictive. And a special mention should go to Chrono Trigger, which IMO is one of the best RPGs ever made and definitely with stands the test of time.

The Sonic series, the 2D platformers that is, on both the Mega Drive and the Master System. They are all still as playable as the were when they were first released.

Just like to disagree a bit here - I feel F-zero is quite dated now, I sold my copy soon after buying it.

Of all genres, racers and sports games seem to age the worst. I'm not sure about F-Zero, I still quite enjoy it personally, but I wouldn't say it hasn't dated. Mariokart is an exception to this pattern, as is Sensible Soccer. And I will always love Track & Field.

Visually yes but the gameplay is still fantastic IMO and the music is some of the best EVER.

I think another problem may be the fact that if you play F-Zero X first, the original can seem quite dated as they play so differently.

I'll throw the mighty Viewpoint for the Neo Geo into the ring. Graphics have a lovely retro style, and look really solid. Music is fantastic - akin to English seaside resort organ music played on a cheap Casio keyboard with an early 90's dance beat behind it. Most importantly, it plays really well, albeit as hard as nails.

                  Fantastic.

                    Flashback
                    Zelda 3
                    Castlevania IV
                    Castlevania SOTN
                    Axelay

are top of the pile when it comes to pure playability. and still keep me occupied to this day.
