Got stuck on the Dragon-thing in Bujingai. Must of had a dozen cracks at it, but the best i got it down to was half life before it ate me. Since loads of others finished it i feel a tad embarrased... then i got distracted by other games and havent been back.

More recently i kept getting gunned down by "Mr Kelly" the gunfighter in Red Dead Revolver, i dont know how many times i had to retry that quick-draw fight, 30? more?! I obviously wasnt timing it right, and the game never penalised you for not being so good before that point. Then when you did win the quickdraw, he'd run about shooting the villagers of Brimstone ending you the mission as well... finally got him, but quite frustrating.

listening to you guys get stuck on certain levels makes me want to personally fish out these games and give it a stab to see where the problem is......... it gives me a feeling of dont want to be defeated. Its jus another version of hype, i guess........

Theres a stupid, stupid, banana on DK64 in the lighthouse world, where Diddy kong has to swim into a mechanical fish and then shoot 5 switches behind stupid spinning propellors in 2 minutes. The propellors slow down 4 times so you can hit 4 but the last switch you have to rely on complete fluke to hit the last switch between the extremely fast propellors. It was the last banana I got and I have never played it since!!

The laser escape from War! on Conker was an absolute monster as well. I did it but only after smashing everything around me first!!!

I can't actually think of a level in a game which I've found really hard but given up on it. I've always done the levels no matter how hard (I'm looking at you Caverns on Goldeneye!!). But I have given up on tons of games through boredom.

              For me.

Alma from Ninja Gaiden; took me ages before that bint even decided to go down.

Expert Level 7 on Super Monkey Ball; I *hate* this stage. I can probably count on one hand how many times I've actually beaten it.

I'm having muchos difficulty on Bowser's course on Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour at the mo. Haven't tried it with any star characters yet though, so it's only a matter of time.

The only challenge (that I can remember anyway) that I gave up on was Shin Gouki on Street Fighter Alpha 3 world tour mode. Impossible, I tells ya.

I got up to around level 5 of Ninja Gaiden. Got to the bosses (a couple of mutant lizard things) and died. Fair enough, so I reload the save. There are 4 ninjas waiting outside the save point, who proceed to decimate me every time. So I gave up, and played something with an actual difficulty curve.

This from one of only 6 people who have actually finished Jet Force Gemini. Just to annoy people, I beat Mizar twice. He he.

Jet Set Radio: Did the training levels, moved on to the actual game.

The ordeal consisted of fighting with an unruly camera, zig-zagging haplessly around the level and trying (and failing) to get the controls to do what I wanted them to do, consulting a map which was entirely useless and getting the crap kicked out of me by the police, that guy with the gun, and volleys of CS gas, before I even knew what the hell was going on.

I fared no better on subsequent attempts. JSR, then; a cult classic to some, but to me, a lesson in agonisingly unplayable sadsim.

One of the most frustrating (was it JSR or JSF) was jumping onto the bus station roofs. That was a real pain though I did eventually succeed (thought I never would though).

these guys can only be hit from one direction and are tuff as nails, they take two hearts off as well every time they hit you i must of tried it like 20 times, i did it when i was a kid back on the nes so im determined to do it again but its testing my patience grrrrrr

I'm one of the many people that haven't. I personally think it's impossible with that stupid camera angle. Hurt my hand real bad after smashing stuff up when he was nearly dead and the cheap camera caused me to die.
I just want to see the Jimmy Saville "moment"

Other than that the final level of Advance Wars has me stumped. Can't do it at all.
