from playaisa i have naruto 3 on gamecube pre ordered...havent played any of the others, but i only just got into the anime a month or so back, and only today got up to date with it. so i'm really looking forward to that.

over at videgames plus for usa xbox stuff, i have dead or alive ultimate, burnout 3, halo 2 and guilty gear XXR.

i will certainly order outrun 2 soon, if its there yet
very tempted to get armoured core nexus too, but i dont know if i will play it enough, the lure of 'live' is too much most of the time.
and then of course, early next year, street fighter aniversary on xbox.

There are some seriously enticing games coming out during the final quarter of this year, and both Doom III and Gradius V have (in my opinion) just kicked the madness well and truly off. I'd go as far as to say during the next four to five months, we may just witness the greatest number of AAA titles being released in such a condensed period of time. Even by late Q3/Q4 standards.

Halo 2. San Andreas. Gran Turismo 4. Fable. Pro Evolution Soccer 4 (EUR). Burnout 3. The Sims 2. Prince Of Persia 2. Killzone. Killer 7. Metroid Prime 2. Outrun 2. Devil May Cry 3. Viewtiful Joe 2. Paper Mario 2 (US).

A vast number of sequels I know... But impressive titles on the horizon all the same.

However.

One game stands above even all these in terms of my anticipation.

Half-Life 2. It has the potential to be as big as a sequel release along the lines of an Ocarina of Time or a Final Fantasy VII. A game which could send shockwaves through the industry if it turns out to be as good as it looks on the outside. Here's hoping.
