Just had a quick play on the UK version and if anyones seen Shaun of the Dead and fondly remembers the scene in the pub where they are fending off the barkeep it's worth a play just for the giggles you get out of playing 'Dont Stop Me Now'
Track listing is far far superior to the dodgy US version aswell. Tho JAp still rules the roost

Don't suppose anyone's had chance to play this who's also had some experience with Pop'n Music on an full-sized controller ?
Any music game with crazy peripherals tempts me something rotten, but the gameplay on this looks like it could be very similar to Pop'n, just with 7 less buttons (meh!)
Is there more to slapping the old bongen than first meets the eye?
Or is it really as simple as slapping the right bongo at the right time? (or the left bongo at the right time)
I'm torn between this and the upcoming Sega Superstars on PS2 (finally, I can use the dreamy maracas again!)

The game's fun, but yeah, it is hella simplistic compared to the high-end bemani games (I can clear a couple of level 40/41 songs on pop'n, the first time I played one of the songs on Donkey Konga I was 2 notes from full-perfecting it)... definitely would advise against buying it if you're looking for a challenge. As said, it's a novelty, and probably works way better as a party game, don't go expecting anything with any major longevity :<

Definately pushing it, since I had the 'job' of demonstrating it to people in the entrance to Debenhams (on account of me working for one of the Game debenhams stores). Was repeatedly told I had a great job, and it's definately a game that's better with more than one player, as the kids who took a bongo each will tell you. Not sure about longevity though, unless you have a lot of friends around often.
