Donkey Konga - PAL Release

The PAL version has a lot more 6-8 rated songs in the highest difficulty level than any of the other versions. Me thinks they're going for the hardcore denomination here

In the two Japanese versions and the US, there were about 2-3 songs I needed a few goes at to get gold on. So far on the PAL version, there's quite a few I've had several attempts on and only got silver. That's saying something...

I really love the music selection, I know they're mostly covers, but when the movements are going stupidly fast accross the screen I don't really care as I'm too busy tryin not to mess up too badly

Silly question Alert: (probably) I guess this game must be played with the Bongo's, you can't play it with a joypad.

You can use a pad but it's hugely pointless and takes all fun out.

Like Mayhem I've found the PAL release harder than the three other Konga's, thought it was just me being a bit ****

It came, and i enjoyed a night of bongo action, the songs are enjoyable enough even though they aren't teh original artists performance's but that will be due to stupid cash issues for the musician's. Still i wickedly fun game, just need more bongo's for the mates and it should be a riot..

Make sure you pick up Jungle Beat when it is released next year, it's bloody great fun

I'm thinking of picking this up later. I sold my GC a while back when things went a bit "stale" but there's so many good games at ridiculously low prices, that its a great time to get one IMO. And 100 quid for this bundle seems like a bargain.
