What games are worthy games but have been pushed to the side lines.

    I would have to say

Silicon Valley on the N64 and later on the PSX and GBC very fun game would love to see a sequal.

Another being Wetrix just as addictive as Tetris what ever happened to Zed Two ? i cant remember hearing of them after Wetrix.

Isn't it Zed Two that are developing Pillage?

Zed Two are indeed making Pillage.

Frequency is a game that has been pushed to the sidelines. I don't think many copies of the game were sold which was a real shame as it is one of the best rhythm action games around.

Indeed, Frequency was quite hard to find, so I just ordered it online.
Gitaroo Man was fabulous, and totally overlooked. Uplink was great. Hardwar.

          Omega Boost - PSX

This game was a great shooter, and was developed by Polyphony Digital. To this day, it's still arguably one of the most visually accomplished PS1 titles, and the gameplay is incredibly fast and furious. There are lots of additional challenges also (like the challenge stages, or going for better rankings). Despite it getting a fairly big launch and doing reasonably well in Japan, America and Europe largely ignored it. The game is also notable because of it's fu**ing brilliant smartbomb, which has to be one of my alltime faves entitled "Viper Boost".

Whether the low sales were down to timing, or consumer apathy towards mecha games I'll never know. Reviews scored it quite highly too if I remember making this even more of a mystery. Ah well, you can probably pick it up for next to nothing nowadays if you like the sound of it.

Oh yeah, and the intro is one of the most unintentionally funny pieces of FMV you will ever see, almost worth the asking price alone. The CGI is actually very good, but the dialogue? Jesus...

            Azure Dreams - PSX

Graphics where **** as hell, but it was so fun. Aswell as climb some massive tower, you get to build extra venues and entertainment places in your town, pull birds!, raise your own creature and drive some real fast hover bike around town lol

Hey! I had this. I loved it. The graphics were a bit crude, but I liked the creatures you had to raise tamagotchi-style.

My personal favourite gem is Vandal Hearts. What a marvellous game. Sort-of isometric chess with anime styling and a typical oriental "I must avenge my ....insert sibling/parent/master here.... and on my journey learn the meaning of trust, friendship and love" story.

              Great.

Tobal no.1 -(psx) In a world of Tekken and Tekken wanabe's this was a much needed fighting game that was completely different to what was on the market, brilliant fighting engine, true 3d fighting mixed with with grapple based throw system and kickass reversals. Shunned becuase it wasn't Tekken, its graphic style was to different and it Characters not real enough(it did have a gaint blue chicken)

Soleil - (MegaDrive) Sega's answer to Zelda durign the last days of the 16-bit era, brilliant gameplay (combo'ing Animals with ur sword to get new attacks and techniques), good story and brilliant graphics and top, top music, that while was little easy if ur good gamer out did Zelda:lttp

Rocket: Robot on Wheel - (N64) Mario with brains and physics engine, ok'ish graphic and troublesome camera couldn't hold back this gem of a game, Brilliant puzzles and lot of original ideas (build a Roller Coaster to get item u need up in the sky). Second Best 3D Platformer of all time behind Mario64

Others of note: vandel hearts(Psx),Suikoden(Psx),Phantom Crash(xbox),bangi-Oh(Dc),Record of lodoss War(Dc).

Hasn't this been covered many times before? For the record two-player Fantavision. While chemically enhanced. At 03:00. Awesome levels of concentration needed. A total mind****.

Body Harvest on N64...underrated and publicised but amazing once you got into it. And I don't want to hear what some of you will say, cos the graphics DON'T MATTER! Blindingly hard too.....
