Give Rockstar San Diego some credit while we're here; Red Dead Revolver was a fantastic game.

Personally, I love Rockstar simply cause they know more about good movies than most people in the movie industry.

Yup. They know their stuff when it comes to satirical comedy.

Although it's not universally popular, I'd like to add Remedy's Max Payne under the Rockstar publishing list which I value.

The controls are mostly awful, but I love it's utterly cheesy melodramatic style.

Can't wait for Rockstar North's take on The Warriors too next year.

        WAAAAAAAARRRR-IORS!

        COME OUT TO PLAAAAAY-AY!

Didn't realise Rockstar had their mitts on that one - they better not screw it up.

Have they had the license all along? I have vague recollections of seeing someone had it a while ago, but it wasn't looking too promising?

Love the fact that they're using 'Welcome to the Jungle' on the ad; other than that it's pretty so-so. If the combat's genuinely improved I'll no doubt pick it up at some point.

Yup. It's due out sometime next year.

I'm expecting it be kind of an unofficial sequel to Manhunt. Which is fine by me - As long as it has the same kind of retrograde nihilistic atmosphere.

Isn't there a remake of the movie on the way as well though? I'd expect the game to follow that if it's the case.

I hope not going by the rule of thumb for Movie Licenses
