Unless Disney/SE are involved somehow with that crap looking Peter Pan game, whoever made it is in trouble. Both the Captain Hook image and the island in the background have been shamelessly pulled directly from the Kingdom Hearts strategy guide.

I would have thought Disney are laughing too much to care.

Disney are the people who ordered a nursery school to erase a picture of Mickey Mouse from its wall because of copyright infringement. Wow - totally shameless.

I guess they hoped people's eyes would be attracted to the horribly rendered Peter Pan to notice!

More to the point, why did Sony/SCEE license it? Don't they have to pre-vet the cover art too? I thought they'd be against one of their key exclusive series being pillaged.

They do check the artwork - but that mainly concerns the size of the logos and if it contains offensive material.

I doubt the person checking knows anything about who's drawn what or videogames at all.

But they passed the animal threesome cover with Horny S&M Attack Squad Rhino! Those no-goodniks!

Hardly shameless. Under copyright law if you don't take action to protect your copyrights from unauthorised use your claims become invalidated and you lose them. You can't blame them for not wanting to lose the rights to Mickey Mouse because some nursery school decided to paint it on their wall.

Was the nursery school using it for profit? Methinks not. How about simply giving them permission? Or could it be the Haus of Maus is actually Mauschwitz after all and they enjoy fascistically deleting their best-selling DVD titles in order to trump up sales when they're rereleased two years later.

"Mummy, why can't I have The Little Mermaid on DVD"

                "Because God HATES YOU!!"

It doesn't have to be for profit; it's just the use of the IP that matters. They probably could have given permission but then again are they any companies that just give the use of their characters away?

Any every DVD gets deleted, especially big movies (how else would they be able to keep flogging new versions?). It just happens to be that Disney gives it a name.

Uggh I'm torn with this one - Good Boxart or Bad? It's such a fine line sometimes.

                    No question about these though:

I don't think anyone will be sueing for likeness on this one:

This one has already been posted, but I think the link went down:

                          Something about this

that I couldn't put my finger on. Something in the back of my brain was trying to tell me something...

I thought about it for ages, and then it came to me like the scene from that Messenger film with Milla Jovovich. Like it came from Luc Besson himself!

                          It's uncanny!!

                                hahahhahaaha! outstanding!

the sad thing is i remember that cover. but i think it provides an important lesson for us all - hit a gorilla with a mallet and bananas will fly out it's chest.

half the fun of these is trying to recognise which film the 'artist' ripped off to make the front cover. brilliant.
