Sorry to hear your DS is a bit ****ed, mate.

Mine hasn't gone dodgy yet, but my mate who ordered his is somewhere lost in the place called planet earth. they wont reply his emails he doesnt have a tracking number...

Also my DS took 3 times as long as they said it would to arrive.

Do not buy from importmadness.com, they sent me a Half Life 2 Prima guide when i ordered a Half Life 2 Raising the bar book.

And i'll be ****ed if i'm gonna send it back to canada.

Oh dear, so I didn't use the English language properly when speaking on a forum, my god strike me down and take all my DS games.
Oh come now, I'd hardly call this

a figure of speech and coming from a journalist too! If you really meant that as you say, then fair enough I take my comment back but to me it sounds like your back peddling.

I'll be interested to see how the DS's build quality is reported on in Games.

I didn't think editors had to be rational? Or am I mixing that up with people who take things too seriously on an internet forum?

What does he mean? Why so many question marks? Find out in the next episode of "Moodmon's Adventures In Opinion Land".

But the DS was built on the cheap, surely? How can they be selling the thing for half-nothing, yet still declare they're making a profit on every unit sold?

          edit - more question marks!

            Nice edit.

I think the DS is actually made of sponge and horse hair. That's why it is so cheap. The touch screen is a actually a small hive of genetically modified glow worms, that shout at the sponge when they've been touched, which makes the work-o-mater go, which leads to stuff happening on screen.

That's what I've been told, anyway.

No back peddling mate so I accept your apology. (I'm used to people constantly correcting things I write on forums because of my job).

As for the write up, I'm just as interested to read it as you are...

Because the tech their using is mature and affordable its as simple as that. They haven't over-reached themselves and they pitched their design at a specific market sector.

                Contrast this with the psp.

I've always found N64's controllers to feel tacky n plasticy - same for Dreamcast... (only -slightly- better)
