I don't. I also don't expect the consumer that doesn't want to be ripped off for every single penny their credit card company will loan them to fall for it. If you don't want to pay the price, don't pay the price. If you want to be a consumerist sheep and pay whatever it takes for this season's "hot" present, then expect to be fleeced.

And if you want warning that initial stocks of a product are going to be woefully short, in order to create an artificial buzz, look for the word "Playstation" on the box.

its not just the game stores thats upto no good with regards to the slimline ps2

just bought yesterdays issue of the supermart which is scotlands answer to loot and there are a couple of sellers with a slimline ps2 wanting offers

even 1 guy has a slimline ps2 with pro evo and gta: sanandreas for sale and he wants ?300 - no offers

The conclusion to the saga- my GAME was selling them for ?195 minimum for the 30 new ones in today (all sold BTW). We got the money but lost the customer for future purchases in most instances.
Like Mgear I agree the company has changed for the worse, all the old different policies that set the place apart have now been replaced with crap Dixons style practices.

I also (predictably) failed to keep to my word of walking rather than forcing ?195 on people. Hasn't stopped me feeling like a total ass for it, although all the shop is doing is practicing commercialism, something I was well aware of when I signed up.
