Hang on, Rockstar win Best Dev, but GTA: SA doesn't make the top 3 in either the 'Best Game' or 'Innovation' categories...?

And Four Swords is better than....

    >_<

    ...no, don't bother Trebs.....don't bother....

Great, a stutter fest sweeps the boards. Bet they don't even mention some of the problems people have been having with it.

Is it relevant? Who cares, I wanna bitch

That's what struck me about the list. And they get PAID to write this guff.

Doesn't quite ring right to me either.

Nintendo have no games in the categories listed above, but are still best developer? How?

Because they are? Doesn't mean to say any of their games are worth an award though, except for Four Swords

              Nintendo won Best Publisher, Paul.

It's not that difficult to understand. They may not have released any game that Edge think ranks in the top three, but if they've got a higher level of consistency than other publishers then there's absolutely no contradiction.

The justification for giving Rockstar Best Dev is less apparent, but I'll wait until reading the comments that go with the awards before deciding whether it makes sense or not.

I got it in my head I read developer instead of publisher, my error.

I also meant the Rockstar issue as well, doesn't quite ring right.

Like Randy, I'll read it first.

Rockstar also made Manhunt, which was highly praised in Edge. So again it might be a matter of consistency. Valve, Bungie only made one game.

Manhunt came out last year though.

                    What's on their minds??

GTA:SA didn't innovate it merely evolved thats why it ain't in the innovation category.

Plus I think the 3 games featured in the best games are all better than GTA:SA but thats just my personal opinion.

Bit of old fashioned patriotism maybe?
