Oddworld Stranger is coming very soon, I've already got RE4 on its way, and there's StarFox Armada next month.

Then there's Killer 7, Snake Eater , S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Conker ......

I'm trying to cut back but its really difficult.

Well, the rules clearly state that if you complete the two games you already bought that month, you're allowed to get another. Just make sure you complete your games and you'll be fine.

This is the main reasin why I'm trying to stick with AAA stuff only, it's more likely to be so good that you'll want to play it all the way through.

I've been told I cannot buy any games until Easter, because I'm seriously low on cash and I simply cannot afford it, which is a pain in the arse as I want KOTOR II, MGS3 and OutRun 2.

its gonna get pretty tough with a list longer than my arm of games i wanna buy but i'e lasted 15days so far

Not read this post before but this is similar to what I've been doing since mid last year. I'm still sticking to it.

To be honest once I'd got out of the habit of buying constantly I realised that I barely have enough free time for 2 games a month. As such I've been finishing more and getting more from the games I do buy.

Last months purchases were Paper Mario 2 and Metroid Prime 2. I've only just today started Metroid Prime 2.

I suppose I did kind of cheat a bit this month though. I bought a DS and two games for it today which is kinda three gaming items.

Other than the PSP I have only paid for Minna No Golf myself this month.
Lumines was bought by my mum as she owed me some money and RE4 was already paid for in November.

P-A owe me $48 too, so that will be saved up and used to order a new game in the next few months (probably a PSP one)

Really hoping I can stick to my guns this year and reduce the credit card balances

Just Starfox Assault (US version) on 14th and Devil May Cry 3 on 17th for me in February.

March is a different proposition altogether though; Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, The Rumble Fish, Killer 7, Winning Eleven 8 Liveware Evolution, Spikeout and Tekken 5 to name only a few I think.

I've messed up everything already. I'm now going to officially start in February.
I'm going to pick up the US version of Wario Ware DS and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. I should be able to finish them up fairly quickly and then if I do finish them I will pick up Xenosaga 2. March I'll get the US version of Yoshi's Touch and Go as well as the PAL version of RE4.

im up for this. have just received metroid prime 2 and (hopefully) resi 4 on monday so thats this month taken care of. i had been thinking about something like this just before chrimbo after looking at the games i own and have completed. it took me one year to complete halo, and thats about the only game i have made sure to complete!!
mind you having children does'nt help matters, although seeing your 3 year old boy complete the first level of sonic 1 makes you swell with pride.
