It really is isn't it. The big countdown to Thursday is gonna be such an anti-climax too since we have to wait another 4-5 days to get it delivered!

Oh I dunno, think of the excitement/frustration as we sit there checking our emails/videogames plus etc accounts to see if they've been dispatched.

That is a worry, considering they are offering to do a pixel check on the psp, presumably some of these will have dead or stuck pixels, so it seems likely that some who have preordered and are expecting to receive their machines from the first batch are likely to be dissapointed.
Bearing in mind I have already sold a JP psp which had no pixel problems, I am now wondering at the wisdom of my decision to sell it.

Fingers crossed no one does. Maybe they ordered a little extra to allow for this? As I am really excited and would hate to miss out, as would others.

EDIT: Has Videogamesplus charged anyones credit card yet? It is past the 21st now and they were meant to charge them on the 21st weren't they?

Takes a few days for CC transactions to show up generally, so could be Thursday before we find out when they charged our CC's....

Just checked incase but nothing taken as of yet. But you're right, I ordered something from Lik-Sang last Thursday and it just showed up on my CC online statement today!

Looking forward to my psp games arriving they shipped em today(VG+) i,m wondering if i get em for thursday by DHL then the wait for the PSP to be shipped not sure if i will be in the Initial Batch...then i can get rid of my jap psp with 3 dead (always on pixels) unless i get more on my u.s version then i can play dot to dot..

Asked Sidney if they have recieved their allocation of PSPs yet....

"Sorry we do not have the allocation as of yet."

Sony don't want any retailers jumping the gun on the PSP release date....looks like they are shipping as late as possible.....

I'm sure there must be some local game shops in the big ole' USA that are gonna break the release date.........

BTW I have a PSP already....I'm still bloody excited though......

The dead pixels are very hard to see you only notice them when the screen goes black say when its loading there not like a dead pixel on a DS which really stands out, i dont notice them.

If you mean from VG+, probably a few weeks..... I'd expect them to have a lot of pre-orders to fulfill.

To be honest, ebay might be a better bet for you, it will be flooded with them over the next week or so, I'd expect to pay ?200 with a game from on there....
