I'm going to be purchasing a Dreamcast (US Ver) and the following games:

- Jest Set Radio
- Border Down
- Samba De Amigo
- Power Stone
- Bangaio
- Crazy Taxi
- Skies of Arcadia
- Phantasy Star Online
- Daytona USA 2001

What other games would you recommend for this excellent system?

Power Stone 2 (not quite as good as the 1st but still excellent)
Crazy Taxi 2 (same as above)
Hydro Thunder (ace)
Ikaruga (if you haven't already got this on GC)
Cosmic Smash (MMMmm stylish)
Last Blade 2 (good conversion of the Neo classic)
Zero Gunner 2 (more shooting action)
Street Fighter 3 Double impact/3rd strike
Vitua Tennis 1+2 (still the best tennis games imho)
Resi Code Veronica
Marvel Vs Capcom 1+2
Le Mans 24 hours
Mr Driller
Sega Bass fishing with Rod
and i also had a thing for Pen-Pen

I assume as you mention Border Down that your DC is modded. In that case, Ikaruga is a must own for the system.

i've always preferred playing Space Channel 5 1&2 on the DC, I'm also a big fan of Tokyo Bus Guide. If you like shooters then it's nice to play Ikaruga on, what is pretty much, Native hardware. The original Soul Calibur should be on your list too, I still perfer it to it's sucsessor. Virtua Tennis is another DC classic well worth checking out.

Yep, I'd agree with most of the recommendations here but I'd also add Seaman for a totally unique and very entertaining experience. And, if you didn't play the PS2 version, Ecco: Defender of the Future is an astounding (and in my opinion criminally underrated) game.

In terms of must-have games, I think that the DC beats every system hands down. It's the only previous generation system that never got put away at all.

Cool Cool Toon and Rez
Both hugely playable and easily the best music games to be found on home consoles (bar Gitaroo Man).
And as long as you have the controller the Pop 'n Music games are really good fun.

I couldn't recommend enough Skies of Arcadia, Gigawing 1, Ikaruga, Psyvariar 2 and Guilty Gear X.

I'd stay clear of Cannon Spike though.
