I think the stylii were in the catalouge around the 25th of May. Mine turned up sometime last week.

Oh the irony, I went ahead and ordered the Donkey Konga 2 pack and recieved a confirmation email instantly and lo and behold another message was in my inbox saying the Pacpix stylus got sent out today. Looks like it's 3 sets of Bongos for me then, finally Nintendo VIP pays off(still got 3000 odd stars left as well).

I really wish they'd take all that useless trash like wallpapers and screensavers off of the catalogue. That sort of stuff should be free anyway. Real physical items ONLY please!

Arggh, finally I am in time to get something and I can't decide.

Polarium or Donkey Konga? I already have DK Jungle Beat (with bongo's). Do I really want another set of bongos? Help me...! (please)

EDIT: Sod it, got Polarium, something for the missus for a change...

BY the power of greyskull if more stylii are in next time I will rape my own mouth...

Arrgh. I never bothered entering any stars, for my GBA, SP or GC, let alone any games, because there wasn't anything in the catalogue at the time. Now I can't find my stars codes. I'd love Konga 2 (for a second set of bongos if nothing else), and Polarium wouldn't go amiss either.

You know the answer then, Jebus. Get a Konga, any Konga, for the game, then give me your spare bongos if you don't want them

4,500 stars for Donkey Konga 2 Pak, f--k that, how many Nintendo products would you need to buy before you can make such a purchase, i bet its a lot. Man, you'd save money just buying the pak out of the shop, rather than trying to save up all those stars.

Nintendo, treat Europe like **** as it is and still expect us to fall for this "stars" bollocks. I really hope they fall on their ass next gen.

I have to admit, you make a good point. I've spent about 100/200 stars since joining nintendovip.com in 2002 and all I've got to show for it is (now) Polarium. I've registered everything I've bought as well...

Well, GC games are cheap as chips, and seeing as the 1st party releases all have 250 stars it really doesn't take that long.

Also, how could you save money buying it from a store? No one buys the games just because they have stars in.

It may not be as good as the japanese club points, but surely it's better than nothing?

Look at mid - he wishes he did register just so that he can now get something for free.

I do get annoyed that it's difficult to get any 'physical' items, but then Sony or Microsoft never offered me the chance to get anything for free (well apart from a replacement power cord).

Polarium hasn't cost me anything, I was buying the games/consoles anyway, and kept registering the stars ready for a rainy day.

Taking into account that you only get stars if you buy brand new products. Most first party games are either a) classic releases which cost ?20 or b) brand new releases which cost between ?30/35, i mean even amazon don't sell brand new GC games (as you call it) cheap as chips.

What? OK you want the Donkey Konga 2 Pak, but haven't got enough stars, are going to a) save up enough stars to get it (this means buying brand new games to get stars) which cost between ?20 and ?35. Donkey Konga 2 Pak costs 4,500 stars, you get 250 stars per first party titles (as you say), so you buy all classic titles at ?20 (and get 250 stars), that's ?360 = 18 games at ?20 each, or would you rather b) go into a shop spend ?40 saving yourself ?320.

I doubt anyone would buy 18 games for over ?350 solely to get enough stars for a free DK2 so I don't see your point. You wouldn't be saving yourself ?320 as you'd have a stack of 18 full games to show for your money.

Whether there are 18 games worth buying is another matter though.
