That's exactly my point, you would be better off buying the game for ?40, rather than saving up all those 4500 stars to get the game!

Whether there are 18 games worth buying is another matter though.
    True

I don't think the idea of the stars catalogue is to present you with a target that you must buy things to acheive, it's just a reward for people who already have enough stars through buying things they WANT before hand.

If you can't find 18 games worth having from the entire 1st party GBA and GC lineup I feel sorry for you, u get 1000 stars for ur GBA and GC hardware too mind so that'd make it 14 games.

You can pick up quite a few of the older games new for well under a tenner, such as Pikmin, Wave Race, Luigi's Mansion, NBA courtside etc and apart from the last one I wudn't say no to any of them ^_^

I had the stars for it anyway as I like my Nintendo stuff, as I'd have bought the games anyway, it is essentially Donkey Konga 2 for free

you need to spend about ?1500 for a free game from GAME with their loyalty scheme, so in that sense it's good but way I see it, if you were gonna spend the money anyway it's worth doing, but it's pointless spending money for the sake of these loyalty schemes.

Hey, I'm trying to defend the Stars Catalogue here, it's a nice idea and there's nothing sinister about it.

It's hard to build up stars when half your stuff is imported though, then there's the fact that in my experience a lot of first party PAL stuff doesn't include a voucher anyway.

Finally, something decent to spend my stars on ^_^

Would have had the donkey konga pak, but since I foolishly spent 300 stars on a wallpaper about a year ago and being generally unimpressed by the game, I settled for the Kingdom Hearts GBA game instead. Not bad at all I tells ya. True, I did have to spend hella cash to get those pts, but they were from items that I actually wanted, so it was cash well spent

Hmmm, I think you've been conned then (I got done over with F-Zero GX :/ so need a voucher for that) as all first party Nintendo releases since it started, and quite a few 3rd party big name games have all included stars. Problem is alot of store staff are taking the vouchers out of the games when they unseal them.

I've only used points for games that I've wanted. I've never bought a game just because I wanted the points or anything like that.

Over three years I've built up about 8000 points and I finally got to buy something tonight! Only took three years but it happened eventually!

Just used my points on Donkey Konga. I originally had the japanese version but sold it a while ago. Will be nice to see what the PAL tracks are like

Have you emailed them your details and stuff? As I recall I had to email them some info like my address and things before they managed to track down my stylus. I finally got it about a week or so ago, so that made it about three weeks from the day that I ordered it from the stars catalogue. I'd say there's definitely something wrong with your order then.

After about 2 or so weeks of no response regarding the Pac Pix stylus I ordered I emailed Nintendo to see what was going on and they replied pretty damn quickly, they sent out a delivery conformation at the beginning of the following week and the stylus was delivered at the weekend, just keep pestering them

I think that most of the stuff on the site is utter nonsense for a loyalty scheme and nowhere in the league of the club nintendo scheme in Jpan but hey it's for free and when anything is for free it is a bonus, so let's all stop moaning about it.It's **** and we know it but that is life.

One day Nintendo of Europe will have great schemes and great customer relations and great release dats,...oh **** I nearly got hit by that PIG flying by my window, hehe.

I still haven't received my stylus, or replies to any of my emails

Will look to see if there is a number to ring, but I doubt there is.
