I'm with C' on this one - Give it to the BIG team - I reckon they could do it some justice. Yeah, burnout 3 engine, BIG style/input - that would be awesome.

And for the record the 3DO version was the undoubted daddy - it may have appeared on Saturn/PS1 but that was years later and testament to how good it was in the first place !

Road Rash is really a great game. I only played the 3DO version, but the feeling when kicking your opponent right in front of a house block or oncoming car is just great.
It still makes me laugh when I think about it now.

Isn?t there also a PC version of Road Rash available?

Yes the PC version is the same than 3DO, PS1 & Saturn's one, good game but i got graphics problems with an ATI card.

Acclaim made a moto game with the Burnout 1 or 2 engine called "Speed King", not so bad it seems (but not so good).

Anyone know how to contact EA ? i would send them an e-mail asking for my favorite game to reappear, I'm aware it's a hopeless act, but I'm hanking after it too much to just let the things go without giving a try (And EA BIG, yesyes, they're the ones)

Theres a few IP licenses that EA really need to do something with, mainly Desert Storm, Syndicate and Road Rash.

I'd personally love to see a (decent) new Road Rash. But im suspect at EA's ability to do so, given there change from publishing a mass amount of ****, to mass amount of cashcow mindless **** with a splash of bling.

How good is the 3DO version btw? Ive only played the Mega Drive version (and seen the PS version running) Im the type of sad bastard who'd buy a machine just to play 1 game :P

Desert Strike DJ :P ur thinkin of Conflict hehe.

I loved the 3D0 Roadrash, had it on PC first and played it for hours on end. I remember the magazines at the time slating the graphics and animation and giving it like 2/10 but I didn't care, I thought it looked and played great.

I did notice on the 3D0 ver that the vehicles etc were 3D, I'm sure they were jus sprites on the PC.
