Agreed. It's be fantastic if the staff could give a short paragraph brief on each game, or the top 5 games.

I don't really believe in the dropping of scores, it's just the posting of scores with no backup is inherently flawed in terms of generating a discussion on a magazine.

Maybe forum guidelines should stipulate that whoever post scores provides a short overview of the magazine contents to generate more vaired discussion. Failing that, people who frequent forums such as these could post a brief press release (that's usually posted on the magazine advertisement website).

I know Edge have a brief run-down of what's in the current issue on their Future website, though the information is often posted well after people post scores and such like.

            And Amstrad 2nd again!!!

Although if you add up all the scores for all the Clashs Amstrad would come first...yes?

I've worked out a way to get rid of the saucy ads, I rip the page out. Huzzah.

Doesn't it signify GamesTM's move to Future Publishing?

Good issue again this month, liked the WoW review and agree with it. The MMORPG feature was a little light, but the subject is so vast that it was tackled in the same way I would have done.

ntsc-uk get a mention in The Shapes piece too, thanks for that

                  awesome cover

not awesome like the DS cover, just an awesome picture thats really powerful and looks fantastic

have to say i was surprised by the splinter cell 3 score. as i remember, pandora got a 9 and chaos theory is miles better but then again, scores don't really matter

Re the signpost:it's also important to note that Bath is in one direction, and Bournemouth in the other. Bath is home of Future, yes, but Bournemouth is home of Paragon.

                        Got my copy today.

You learn something every day - I never realised Super Metroid was developed by Sonic Team (p159). Do you think Sega ever realised Yuji Naka and co were secretly working on games for it's main competitor?

Apart from that, great as usual especially the Ocean feature in the retro section.

I'll hold my hand up to that particular **** up. I used the same template from the previous issue and for some reason forgot to delete those two words.

Or maybe it's an early April Fool... Nah... you'd never buy that.

Nice to see Catch!Touch!Yoshi! getting some good scores. Both GamesTM and Edge giving it the mark it deserves! Hey NTSC-uk, stop bashing excellent games like Yoshi and OutRun 2!

I agree with the StarFox Assault score too. I would have said 6 initially, but I have tried to go back to it and I just can't. The on foot bits are such a chore to play through, and gaming should never be a chore. The game is a true stinker.

As for Meteos and Pac Pix... I have played both quite a bit now, and would personally say 8 and 7 respectively.
