Most of my consoles are still in use, including an Amiga 500 which gets an occasional go.

Dreamcast - sits on top of the dvd player on the shelf over the tv.
Gamecube - sitting next to the Dreamcast.
N64 - on the other side of the DC, beside the dvd player.
Xbox - sits on the far side of the shelf, on top of an old betamax which links all the other consoles to the tv via RF leads. (the A500's linked up to it as well) It's a real wireworks nightmare 'round the back of the telly.
PS2 - on the other side of that mess. A Jpn Slim PSTwo sits on top of it.

Snes - on a desk next to the unit holding all of the above. Also hooked up to the betamax.
Megadrive - the only console not on active duty. It's on a shelf under the desk.
GBA - on the locker next to the bed. Doesn't see much play as I've got a GB player attached to the cube.
I used to have an original Gameboy, but that one's long gone.

          Nice thread.

Most of mine are stashed away in cupboards as I'm a hardware junkie and typically have at least 3 of most consoles, so I keep the best ones as is. But I have my playing set of consoles out which includes, GC, XB, PS2, MD, SS, PCE, AES, GBA, Lynx, NGPC

My brand new in the box LT and GT are bubble wrapped, boxed, wrapped again, boxed again, out of the light, in the warnth, not too warm mind, dampfree and lovingly stashed under the bed!

Xbox: On the floor, next to my TV.
PS2: On the floor, next to my TV.
Gamecube: On the floor, next to my TV.
Sega Saturn: On the floor, next to my TV.
Dreamcast: On the chest of drawers, next to my TV. (Ho****!)
Lynx: On the floor, next to my TV.
PSP: All wrapped up safely to protect it from damage...
...On the floor, next to my TV.

              I think there's a pattern somewhere.

I've actually just moved house so everything is packed apart from my gamecube but the usual situation is something like this:

PS2 - In the lounge next to the tv
Game Cube - In the lounge next to the tv
Dreamcast - Upstairs plugged into the tv
Playstation - Upstairs plugged into the tv
Saturn - In a box being unwell
Neo Geo - In a wardrobe upstairs
Mega Drive - Boxed in the wardrobe
                Super Famicom Under tv upstairs
PC Engine Duo Downstairs in a drawer
White PC Engine Boxed in the wardrobe
NES In one of those grey carry cases upstairs
                DS In my work bag
Neo Geo Pocket Boxed under computer desk

I can't wait to get some of them out again, its a pain having them all packed up.

Gamecube (PAL) - At my dad's house, he taxed it to play Zelda and Resident Evil 4. I'll get it back when/if he completes them!

Good idea for a thread. Mine:

Cube, PS2 & Xbox - Under or next to my TV. Plugged in.
Dreamcast - On shelf above TV. Not plugged in.
N64, SNES & Saturn - Under my bed
                        DS - On my desk
NGPC, GBA, GBC - In a drawer in my bedroom

In an ideal world, all my consoles would be plugged in and ready to play on but at the moment I just don't have the space.

Off-topic, but do you daisy-chain them? If so, is there a loss in quality?

They are daisy-chained, but no more than two deep (if you get what I mean). At first I saw quite a bit of noise, but found out that was down to the interconnecting SCART leads being inadequate. With some decent quality cables haven't noticed any major loss in picture quality, but I am only running these on 14/15 inch TVs.

Dreamcast : Can't remember, the loft I think.
PS2 : Floor next to bass amp.
Gamecube : On top of bass amp.
Nintendo DS : Next to the phone (on computer desk)
Playstation : Loft as well I think.
GBA SP : Magazine area of coffee table
GBA : Magazine area of coffee table

Think that's all I've got nowadays (which is plenty)
