      Pariah - 7
      Touch! Kirby's magic paintbrush - 7

i must of missed something when i was playing kirby with its original design, brilliant art, spot on gameplay and a great array extras, than when i played pariah with its dull drab graphics, less than average sound, **** AI and terrible aming.

yes thats it, i must be wrong

I can't argue with the Jade Empire score. It promised so much but just gave us a re-hashed KoToR. Still there is only a 'light side' and 'dark side' and the responses/actions to gain influence are black and white, when they promised us grey responses that weren't so obvious. There is so much more, but I and many I have spoken to have feel let down by Jade Empire.

I think what you meant to say was "An outstanding game in its day".

That people continue to harp on about Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckles (and those vile sequels) being great never ceases to amaze me.

Seriously, to the next person who defends the game I say this. Go and play it, not just a bit of the first level, but the WHOLE game, yep, all the way to one of the endings.

Done that? Good, now look me in the eye and tell me that you had fun. Come on, smile, you're supposed to be having a good time, Streets of Rage is "a classic" after all.

I completed SOR2 recently and enjoyed it all the way through. The responsiveness of the characters and the sheer amount of moves you can pull off (shame I wasn't play 2 player for the moves you could spin off each other) made it great

The music is also a great thing amount this game. Perhaps the one downside is it does get repetitive but it didn't bother me that much.... I would still say this game is a classic, and I prefer it other final fight tbh

The Time Extend is Vagrant Story, and the making of is Alone In The Dark.

I played SOR2 through to the end on my Xbox recently and loved every minute of it. Had me absolutely hooked right through. It's a classic, a masterpiece, and an amazing game today, tomorrow, and for a long time to come.

I've also been playing a lot of Mega Drive Contra and Thunderforce 4. Both are also fantastic and superior to virtually all new games. (IMO)

                      Agreed.

Unfortunately, highly repetitive side-scrolling fighters do.

I was rather surprised to find it was ?4.00 in the newsagents I work in, although I only paid ?3.50.

What happened to the 50p extra?!

I'm I the only one not to have his subs copy?

No, my subs copy still hasn't arrived. Ever since they switched the subs system (about 3 months ago) they've either not been arriving, or arriving late. bah. I want the Zelda goodness.
