Best modern rally game

I would go along with Rallisport 2 and WRC 4, however a little gem on the GBA is Top Gear Rally, best "behind the car" driving game on the handheld

WRC is class - I don't understand the lack of appreciation - only ever played the first one (given it's now at iteration 4 maybe I should revisit ) but loved the balance between sim/arcade.

RS2 has been covered.

SegaRally has been covered.

Guess that leaves GT4's rally mode which is particularly good with a wheel.

Rallisport 2 is brilliant, i loved it when it came out, and i'm not really a big rally game fan at all!

Oh, i also remember getting a hell of a lot of play out of Sega Rally 2 on the DC, mainly due to the online leaderboards. I had a go on it the other day though and it really did feel crappy compared to RS2

I picked up a cheap copy of RS2, once it arrives and I've played it a bit I'll post my impressions. Here's hoping it's as good as you folks say.

i'd say for the current Gen it's got to be Rallisport 2, it's just amazing the graphics are top, and the handleing is spot on. shame live play died so quick
