How much do you spend a month on gaming?

I was curious to find out how much people are spending on gaming every week?

It seems at the moment I am spending a small fortune on games.

For example last week I bought the following -

So far this week I have bought

Ok I have had a bit of a splurge this week.
What do other people spend?
I dont feel obsessed with games and think I collect on too many systems.

Depends which games become available really.

I try to get my retro & 2nd-hand purchases by not actually "spending" anything though. I'll usually fund those by selling/trading stuff I no longer want/need.

Between 2 and 4 games a month. Its hard to put a number on it though as some months I buy 4 things I've found cheap while other months I'll but 4 new releases.

I tend to splurge when I buy a new console. Recently my DS and my PSP have put sizeable holes in my wallet.

thats probably a bit more extravagant than a normal month even if you ignore the unplanned splurge on pop'n music though.

I try to limit myself to about ?80 a month on retro stuff, then I'll probably buy a current gen game every few weeks as well. So about ?100 a month, I guess.

The more I spend on a game the more I feel I need to get my money's worth. I mean, if I'm paying ?25 for a new GC game then I'll want to see it through to the end, but if I pick up a DC game for a few quid I don't feel the need to sit in front of it for hours.... but I digress.

Too much recently. But I will slow down soon, as it is excitement having lot more money now.

I probably spend about 300 pounds this month on games. I mean after Winning Eleven 9 & Sonic Gems for GC there is no game to buy for August to give me wallet a rest.

I go in phases, but on average about ?40 a month I'd say. I tend not to buy too many new games, and go for 2nd hand or reduced titles.

Depends on the month really. July for instance I've spent very little on gaming related stuff. Go back to June however and I probably spent about ?100. I normally buy games that I've been following for a while although occasionally something will creep under me radar and I'll pick it up on a whim due to a particularly good demo/trailer etc...(e.g Far Cry and now Farenheit).

August looks like it will be pretty quiet for me, I'm probably going to get Jump Super Stars and Advance Wars DS. I'm trying to limit myself to stuff I'll buy at full price on release and stuff I'll pick up later for cheaper(hopefully).
