a fully boxed sega saturn vcd card for ?5, sold it on ebay for ?45 a couple of years back.
i dont do boot sales that much now as the sellers are wising up.
was at one the other week and this guy had just a super famicom sitting on the ground not even on a bag, wanting ?30 for it! no leads or anything,
he took the hump when i offered him a ?2 for it, well i had no way of knowing if it worked and neither did he.Comment

I got Parasite Eve for a fiver yesterday. The box is a bit messy (easily replaceable though) and there's no instruction book but the discs are absolutely mint. Gonna put it up for sale later as its not really my cup'o'tea

I started to have a look for this sort of stuff about 3 months a go and, after trips to two car boots and several visits to local charity shops, I finally got lucky. 6 N64 games which they had just put on the shelf at a new Charity shop for 50p each. Best of the bunch was Mario Kart, which I already have and sold for ?12 on eBay.
Quite interesting, but if I keep going, I'll be doing it for the love, not the money.Comment

Bloody hell, the people on this board must go to some very decent car-boot sales, the most I ever find at my local ones are unboxed and dented SNES carts ( crap games too ). I think the most valuable thing I ever saw was an unboxed Pikachu N64, I almost fainted.

nottingham car boots seem to be full of the aforementioned jokers including a woman who wouldnt budge from ?20 for a boxed saturn. sounds okay but the box was beaten to **** and when i looked inside it had no RF lead and no controller, just a power lead.
best thing i ever got was a PAL saturn (unboxed) with one controller, cables, resi and SF alpha 2 for ?5
