Wow, you can pull off some pretty complex shots when you combine all three. The little icons for the hit options are colour coded with the controller's buttons if you notice.

been playing loads of this, infact more than any "real" games, if anyone wants a kicking and i'm not already on ya FL then feel free to add me

Another thing to mention the right trigger is a precision control - i.e hold down Y for Power along with right trigger and move left stick left/right or up/down to increment the power changes by just 1 each time. The same goes for all 3 buttons - and direction, left stick and right triggger = more precise slower movement of the arrow indicator.

When you set up a game over live for someone on ya friends list, make the game private then once in the lobby press the new 360 circle x button things on ya controller - go into friends select the friend, and invite that way.
It's also easier to have a private chat channel set up aswell, because once the games have been played you get booted back to the menus ( there is no replay match option, so it needs setting up again. Hope thats useful !

Obviously if you play real pool in real life then it helps greatly, and you can visulise the shots and understand whats required in what situation - luckily i'm excellent @ RL too

C'mon you smucks, someone challenge me

I fancy getting Bankshot Billiards but it's very expensive isn't it? Over a tenner for a Live Arcade game.

I think, considering what the arcade games are, most of them are expensive. Some of them should be free (like bejewelled etc). Remember, we (the consumer) just shelled out nearly ?300 (in fact, since I got a core in the end, over ?300 inc accessories) on their product. So to charge that much for a (lets face it) mini-arcade game is a little harsh.

That said, Smash TV and Gauntlet are sorely tempting me.

Went and got it anyway. If anyone fancies handing out a beating then add me to your friends list.

Bought them both. They're worth it purely for the online play.

                Gauntlet is an experience again.

The 12 month sub card comes with Bankshot Billiards for free. Sod paying almost a tenner for such a poorly demoed game.

Sure, I'll be up for a game. Good to play something mreo relaxing between tearing round the race track and gunning down Nazis.

And Outpost Koloki is superb! A lot of character and a management sim that you can play just for half an hour if you want to .

have you had more problems after we played t'other night then marcus?

spent about 5 hours last night trying to get the hardest acceivement - 5 consecutive wins without loosing a turn - kin hard, get up to 3 then either end up scratching after the break, or leaving no shot (9ball)
