I was playing virtually nothing but the 360 in 2006 (apart from the last three days when I got my Nintendo Wii ) so I class finishing a game as either doing all the achievements or finishing the one player story mode. So I finished:

Then of course Fire Emblem on Wii(hopefully)aswell. looking good for me in 2007.

Yep, i've only really kept to the one console too this year. Its been a fairly slow year for games for me, but i've managed to complete a couple. Although, interestingly enough the ones that have captured my time are mostly my favourite gamecube games… ones that have been taunting me, whispering to be replayed. There is no excuse for the dust to settle just yet…

Wind Waker - I am certainly a fan of the beautifully flowing and fluid visuals. I really enjoyed this one, more so then I initially thought I would (and my expectations were already pretty high). I have completed it three times now (once in japanese, twice english language) and the end triforce collecting section was actually quite nice this time round. I suppose i knew where everything was and already had my map fully restored... so rather being a little frustrating it was pleasantly refreshing.

Resident Evil Remake – I forgot how bloody tense this was. Considering it was one of the cube’s earliest titles, it still looks incredible. I never had a problem with the controls and even after RE4 it was easy to slip back into.

Paper Mario 2 – hehe, aww, I love this one. Think I enjoyed it even more the second time too. Lots of little jokes I missed originally made me chuckle, and having already mastered the battle system, it was fun to experiment a little more.

Metroid Prime – Starting up the gamecube and hearing that menu screen music immediately made me smile like a little Eskimo. Absolutely love this and I still think it looks wonderful. It was great to finally get 100%

what else was there? Aha, also replayed Ocarina of Time in preparations for Twilight Princess (which I also recently completed). Even after all this time, it still sent lovely warm tingling sensations trickling down my spine.

Oh, also completed Baten Kaitos 2 Origins, which I’m writing the review for (soon to be up on the site)

Think there have been a couple of others too, but I cant for the life of me remember now. O that’s it, also re-completed Fable: Lost Chapters and Doom 3, which I enjoyed considerably. There was also the odd other… probably quite a gooden too.

Next year I will be catching up on all the recent brilliance bestowed on the 360 and Wii (well, when they are released for the wii), but that’s for the 07 thread!
