I have to say it looks... different from the KoF I know. Seems a lot faster, and the jumping in and out tag battles is a nice addition.

KoF purists will probably hate it, but I'm gonna give it a go if/when it gets ported. It looks like fun!

KOF XI looks ok.Just that its getting to familiar now.

Really needs a complete overhaul.Redrawing and reanimating all the characters would be a good start

That's true. it does look wildly outdated these days compared to GG, FOTNS and even SF3. Still, it looks like a laugh.

Not just looks really.I have played terry bogard pretty much the same way since kof 99.I am sure i will pick this up and pull off the same combos.

Speaking of combos i did hear there is much more scope for OTT combos

EDIT - Certainly is. Some characters look very unchanged, some moreso. Zappa and Slayer seem to have a few new things going on there. Awesome.

Sounds good i know very little about ggxx slash i just assume its a minor update like #reload was

It seems to be a bigger update than the transition between XX and #R was. Seems to be a few new moves, a few new combos available, a few different stages and as I remember ABA from GG ISuka is in there too.

Tell that to the capcom of old. The capcom of new couldnt even release a new or old fighting game for that matter even if a another game developed it and slapped the capcom logo on it!

I just got KOF XI and I rather like it. Crap sprites but it's very colourful, nicely presented, great backgrounds, interesting (brave?) roster. Plays like 2k3 with some genuinely decent new ideas.

Tagging is interesting as it does normally take a second but you can also use your skill meter to tag when taking damage.

I see some of the characters have been changed to different teams.Also there are a number of characters i do not recognise Like oswald.

Does it play much better then kof 2003?

Take a look in this thread for a new JPN ranking battle for FotNS.

It used to be just 3rd Strike and still is but they've started a FotNS one as well
