Agreed, anyway I can't wait to get to grips with Vergil and his Dark Slayer style, it's been looking superb from the videos on the official site.

If I send them a video of me playing DMC3 on DMD mode and kicking ass do you think they would make me a PAL copy?? I dont think so but no harm in asking them !!

On the topic of difficulty, what is the difference between DMD and Heaven or Hell?

Heaven or Hell is one-hit kill - I think. I could be wrong though.

..and so do the enemies. It's really pretty stupid.

I believe it's impossible to get above a B rank on any heaven or hell stage because it's impossible to build up the style gauge. Nothing lives long enough.

Are the rankings not geared more towards time then?.

I havent played it much and I always get crap rankings anyway no matter what the dificulty so i wouldnt know!

You can get an S rank for time but the overall rank is an average of everything, so as you will most likely get a D for style and possibly also orbs (style reflects orb quantites, also the stage can end before you get a chance to collect them all!) the final rank is kind of limited.

yeah but what I mean is that youd think capcom would have realised this and changed how the rankings work for heaven and hell, making time the most important asspect and making it so that the rank you get for style and orbs has little overall effect on lowering your final grade.

                          Oh dear.

yeah you'd think he would know when it came out... seeing as he reviewed it originally.....

question, will the Japanese version of the game be compatible with a U.S. version of ps2? it says on play asia that its "Compatible with PlayStation2? For JPN/Asian systems only." ????

I knew this game was easier (by word of mouth) than the original and gave my opinion on the first play thread before the game was even released, but as usual nobody listens. Stick with the original for a real challenge, otherwise buy the SP version if you have a silver spoon in your mouth. You'll get stuff done for you!
