Got mine today This is what the orignal DS should have been like. I have 1 dead pixel on the top screen (only visible on black) that appeared after playing mario Kart (it wasn't there when I first powered the unit up)

God knows what Yesasia were up to with your order, I ordered a white Lite from them last Friday and it's been shipped out today via express delivery. You shouldn't get hit with custom charges with NCSX as they tend to mark down the value of their stuff.

Well my preorder was for $197 (seemed to be a few dollars shorter as I initally ordered a charger pack which was withdrawn) and they weren't willing to ship me it at that price, just kept saying wait or pay $50 more.

Hope NCSX marked it down, just waiting... damn shipping link doesn't work.

Seems that Australia is getting the DS Lite earlier than the US. Release date is June 1st and will cost AU $199.95 (US $152)

Got mine today from Yesasia, the screen is superb, I couldn't believe the difference between the Lite's screen and the original DS' and no dead pixels as well which is a relief. Only gripe I have is how far the GBA cartridges stick out but I'm sure I'll get over it. Traded in my old DS for Trauma Centre and Metroid Prime Hunters at work today, don't think I could ever go back to using it tbh.

Im thinking I'm gonna ask VG+ as I'll probably be ordering with them if they can "Carefully" check if theres any dead pixels.

I heard of someone asking them to do this with the original DS and apparently it was in appauling condition when it arrived so I'm not sure.

got mine today. didnt have any dead pixels when i powered up for the first time however after using brain age it developed one in the top corner which I thought was abit odd.

Otherwise quality system, very small and stylish, also screens very bright and clear
