Maybe we've been looking at different trailers, the stuff I've seen from Metroid Prime looks outstanding. The detail in some of the environments is near Gamecube level, and I know from First Hunt how great the controls are.

Look at the latest trailers and you may reconsider that opinion. The geometric detail is pretty damn impressive.

At that value they should upgrade you to UPS at no extra cost if you choose free standard shipping(Like what they do with PSPs). So you'll get it on Thursday/Friday most probably. Also, if you get charged customs, they'll reimburse you for it.

When you check your order status on their site, is there a tracking no of any sort?

The method has changed to "Express" but I don't know where to look for the tracking number.

Edit, I've found the tracking number on the invoice but I've no idea who the courier is.

Try slapping the no. into their website tracking function

mine is a 10 digit number, which checks out with DHL's tracking service rather than UPS. Mine is still in HK

Is there a need for a blank cheque or something in case they ask for customs fees on delivery?

Dazzla: I always have my chequebook ready, just in case. And for your DSL, I'd be expecting some charge or another...

Meanwhile, I'm still playing my old DS. Pretty irritating considering I pre-ordered my DSL within an hour of the announcement.

DHL will send you an invoice after delivery has been made (in the case of my 360 it took 3 months to turn up)

My DS Lite left Japan today at 00.27 AM Japan time, so 3.27 PM yesterday UK time, surely it should be showing up as in the UK by now? It's been 29 hours or so

Oops, I thought he was talking about UPS.

Geezer: I've often found that it'll tell you that it's left Hong Kong within minutes of it doing so, but nothing on the UK end gets updated until about 37 seconds before it gets sent out for delivery.

It seems you're right, it's in the UK according to the Japanese EMS site, it reads something about "COVENTRY PARCELFORCE M" at any rate, the rest is in Japanese

It's pretty amusing that Parcelforce can relay information to the Japanese postal service and they update it at their end before Parcelforce bother to update the tracking info at our end

Hopefully I'll have it tomorrow/Thursday
