How many games have you completed? (Nerdism)

Me being erm... 'off work' at the moment and a little bit bored, I decided to see how many games I'd completed in my life. Completed being defined as having seen the ending on the default settings (or normal mode) with one credit where applicable. Not necessarily having collected everything or unlocked the lot, although I do tend to try that anyway where it's not a dire slog.

Total is 161. Doesn't seem like many, although I'm 26, started playing games at 4 years old so that's 22 years which works out at 7.3 games per year or about 50 days per game. Taking into consideration the soooo many games I have started but not finished which would have taken up some of that time, I don't think I'm doing too badly.

Currently own 278 games and out of those I've completed 70.

And that's how bored I am.
    How many have you finished?

Once I clean the house a bit, I'm going to actually try to add to my total, currently working my way through the gate challenges on 1080 Avalanche, which are fun coz they take about 10 minutes each, then I'm onto the time trial coins and then will tackle the Extreme level, which I haven't bothered with yet coz I don't have that sort of attention span right now. Plus I need a Coke.

I have 230 games and out of them I feel I have completed 73 games, I'm becoming very disillusioned with my games at the moment.

I feel I don't have enough time to devote to them as much as I would like and am in sort of a lull with them. The DS is really sparking my gaming urges at the moment. With work, 400+ DVD's, sport etc. taking up my time I don't play my games as much as I used to.

But I'm hoping to push my way through GTA: SA, Far Cry Instincts, Burnout: Revenge and Half-Life 2 in the close future.

74 as of January 2006 (mastered on the highest difficulty and all that). I don't count games I beat on easy etc. But if I did it would be well over 200.

2-3 maybe? I have completed SMW, GTAVC errrr Half Life, Christ I have been playing games for well ever and I'm 27 and have completed none of my games, even my favourite games. My patience is so gone after a few hours. Rez, done that....errrrrr Strider on the MD. I think I enjoy the playing and am not fussed about the completion bit. besides then you have nothing to di pback into!

I've been thinking of doing the opposite, and clearing out my games. But I've sold stuff in the past and regretted it, so I don't think I'll bother.

Most of my games up until the last 2 years or so where I've simply bought too much to have time to play properly. I couldn't put an exact number on it as I've sold a load, although for example I used to have a mega drive and 30 games that I killed, Saturn had a load, for Dreamcast I completed 30 or so... I'm gonna say 90 or so, but I never 'master' a game, as such, I'm just happy that I've seen the sights.

Billy Hatcher next, I think (I've started Killer7 but I'm not in the frame of mind to play it as yet)

I've debated whether or not to actually post this because it seems so ridiculous, but I've clocked somewhere in the region of... 323! I sold pretty much all my games stuff last year so I've had to do it by going through release lists, ergo it's a rough figure. I don't tend to move on to the next game until I've finished the one I'm on, but still.. 323? Jesus. I think this may lead to a radical reappraisal of my life .

of the 17 cube games i own, ive completed about 8

(i do own some games that can't be completed, like animal crossing )

considering my pure suckage at games, thats quite an acheivement

I think most of those Megadrive ones of mine are thanks to the constant stream of platformers that came out for it. My dad used to rent us out a game on the weekend to keep us quiet, most of them you could finish in a day without that much trouble.
