i might buy one but only after its reduced to far more healthy ?100, ?180 for a handheld console is asking too much and i not willing to reply.

Daxter isn't bad as it goes from what I've played so far, it looks good, better than I was expecting and it certainly has that charm that I really liked with the first one (hated the second one).

Im a year in owning one and am still playing Lumines and Ridge Racer ive toyed with gta lc and burnout revenge, but nothing seems to stick. As others have said wait for the "wow this is sweet" feeling to wear off and your left with a handheld with not much else other than racers and crappy ports.

When it hits ?100 I think we'll see software support for the machine go through the roof, espeically when the next gen consoles start taking over from the current gen. The PSP will offer developers a chance to produce attractive looking 3D titles at a fraction of the cost of developing for the 360 and PS3 (kinda the same situation that the DS is in now).

But when will that be? I doubt Sony will make the drop until the end of this year at the very least, and even then it's unlikely that they will go as far as bringing it down to ?100. ?125/?150 is more likely.

Cheers. When things dry up in the summer I'll pick it up cheap.

aye............ jus wait for a newer sleeker design to be annouced and watch them go for a more attractive price. Look what happened to the DS.

when streetfighter alpha 3 max was released i dusted it down, dont think i'd touched it for about 4-6 months previously

took it too work the other night with namco museam 2 and a densha game and they both wanted to update the firmware to 2.6, since they state its best for the machine to be plugged upto a power supply when updating, i couldnt

annoyed since i couldnt play those 2 newer games - just played burnout legends instead

Still get regular play - Pure got rinsed way too soon tho Having a love/hate relationship with Metal Gear Acid at the moment. Got multiplayer GTA this weekend so looking forward to that. Its all good - just not as all encompassing as I'd hoped...I know there's loads you can do with a PSP, you may be able to, but I've not had much success tbh!

Yeah, I find although I aint got that many PSP titles, I tend to get alot of play out of them.

Just recently bought Gradius Portable which is superb!

The screen on the PSP is just so damn sexy.

...provided you don't have any lit/dead pixels, that is.

Anyone else reckon that Football Manager PSP could be a killer app? (for those that are into it?) I'm thinking about it.
