EA have sunk to a new low by having adverts in their achievements.

I tell you my friends, the day where there is a commercial break between levels is not far away!

That's pretty low... They did a similar thing in Fight Night 3 as well though.

Yeah FN03 had it but to be honest I thought it really suited the fight night game and in no way felt compelled to go for a burger king or to buy a Dodge car

I ALWAYS feel compelled to go for a Burger King, and DH's avatar isn't doing me any favours!

Edit: You're right though, it did fit in with FN03 (apart from maybe having the Burger King as your trainer).

Tried both trials today, not sure either are worth it, but I'll definately crack and buy Switchball sometime, I'd have thought.

Word Puzzle seems, just, pointless. Certainly for 800 points. Arcade mode always points out the first or last letter of a selected word, meaning there's no challenge at all. I can see why they haven't called the game Word Search because arcade mode has all the searching removed. Survival mode is better, but introduces word bombs, somewhat pointlessly, which appear to not allow you to select a certain word for, about 5 seconds. I'm not sure what the purpose is. You don't even need to find all the words to complete a level, either. It's just... I don't get it.

Switchball is actually brilliant, but there's only 30 levels in the full game so it may be short lived. From the trial though it's clearly pretty good. It's a lot like Marble Blast, but with prettier stages. You roll around collecting power ups to solve puzzles and get to the end of the level. For example you can make yourself heavier to push larger blocks, etc. Getting faster times will no doubt make this longer, but I get the feeling once you've solved a level that'll be it - there doesn't seem as much scope for getting quicker times as in Marble Blast, so with only 30 levels it could be over pretty quick

"Like marble blast" is pretty much enough to seal it for me tbh.

Apparently this Family Timer feature is going to be available early December, so I'm guessing this is when the "fall" update will be available too? Maybe?

I couldnt even find switchball in the normal list nevermind under new releases... I bought Mutant Storm Empire instead, more waste of money seeing as im bad at it like every other dual stick shooter.

I might have purchased Word Puzzle for 400 MS points, but 800, for what it is, is just plain greedy.

I thought that Switchball was quite pretty but the pace in the demo is reeeeaaallllyyy slooooooww. To the people who bought it; does it pick up in speed later on?
