Dude, restart your x360. When I did it my download started going MUCH quicker (to the proper speed it should be).

I have a 10mb connection, I'm at 38% after an hour.

The Saints Row demo took about 20minutes for me the other morning, I guess masses of people are downloading right now.

I have just emailed Microsoft about the speeds. I have been downloading for nearly 5 hours now and I am at 65% - I have a 4MB Internet connection which roughly equates to 450-500kb/sec. Microsoft have insanely quick Internet servers, yet their Lives ones, which we pay for, are ****e.

It took me just under 2 hours to download the Dead Rising Demo (haven't played it yet) and I'm on a 2mb connection. I really do think many of these problems are ISP related.

I've download a bunch of demos I've missed from after my connection to Live went down due to my crap PC (started playing the chuff ones - Chromehounds, The Outfit, Full Auto, etc. - first and I'm working my way down to the cream of the crop - Prey/Saint's Row/Table Tennis/GRAW/Lost Planet/Dead Rising)
- for last.

So yeah, delayed gratification. Ahem. :P

Downloading DR for 2 hours now, almost there!

Or not, 9% complete. Hurray for broadband! I tried resetting my 360 as suggested in this thread, but that actually made the download go from 11% to 7%. yay.

Hmm, anyone know anything about Texas hold em's price?

I seem to be seeing alot of conflicting information. I remember it being announced it was going to be free, and on gamespot IGN et al, it confirm's this. But now theres anarticle on gamespot from the 27th saying it wont be, and OX360 magazine has a price point of 400 points in there

It was originally going to be free but MS have since changed their minds. No idea on what the price will actually be though.
