Gamertags - why are you who you are?

Got a question for something I'm putting together regarding Xbox Live Gamertags or, more specifically, about why people have chosen the ones they have. True, some people are a bit rubbish - just using their names or some kind of shortening of it - but others are far more interesting. Do you have a story about why you are who you are on Live? A reason or funny quirk? Or maybe you've seen some particularly stupid Live tags and want to point them out so we can all laugh... either way, I'd like to hear it. And again, as last month, there's every chance that if your story's used then you'll appear in print... and won't that be fun?

Long before today's advent of being an "emo" kid, I was really into the hardcore music back in my teenage adolescence. Around that time if I recall, a band called Vision of Disorder released their EP, "For The Bleeders" and at the time, I really didn't think an awful lot about the online identity given that the Internet was a fairly new thing to me at the time, but 7 years on, it's stuck as my forum alias and now, my LIVE gamertag, which is surprising since I'm usually one for change often.

There was a brief period where the tag was commonly associated by most people with *that* line from the movie, There's Something About Mary, since the movie was fairly new at that point.

My gamertag always seems to illicit a reaction.

I spent ages thinking up a name that sounded cool but they were either taken or disallowed.
Mooses have always made me laugh,probably one of the funniest animals in our fine kingdom,it was initially moosetwat but I wasn't allowed that,so it became moosetwit.
I did think about changing it but my gamertag always seems to make people laugh when I enter a lobby so Ive kept it.
The best gamertag i've ever seen personally has to be WHITE WEE WEE

the ch33se on Live, just because I used it when I used to play SFA 3 over Kaillera. The Cheese was the nickname of some scally that went to a school up the road from mine. God knows why- doesn't exactly make you sound hard. There was someone known as Fishy as well. Nice. I added the 33s because I'm just so damn 733t.

Saw some bloke called JesusChrysler on Live- thought that was quite good. And Osama Bin Hitler. Yay, maximum offence.

Close to the time I set up my tag I had watched Willow for the umptenth time and I always finish that film thinking Val Kilmer as Mad Mardigan is ****en awesome... so, I have used Mardigan ever since as my way of appreciating how cool that character was!!
