Check out this thread as I'm sure many of us share forum name & gamertags !!

    http://ntsc-uk.domino.org/showthread...ighlight=forum

Mine is a combination of my dogs name (Yoshi) whom I had to rehome and my son (Max). It's always worked for me

The "-UK" bit on my forum name was my own stupid mistake - must get round to asking the mods to sort that for me !

I was going to comment on the X part but I have been strung up enough about that, hehe... heard I was getting a bit of a battering over in the BF2 live thread aswell over the old mini Mardigan, bastards

Thank god that little wretch is no more.

So, the X is there because I was forced to change my tag due to someone getting my profile off my old console and being able to use it on live, for free, I know, what a fanny. So the X is a reminder of what a clown I was and also I think it quite neatly symbolises the problem that I had !!

I've been using mine on various forums for over ten years. It was originally Brattle, which came from a song I wrote (I used to tinkle about with synths and samplers and create loads of wierd electronica). The song in question featured a sample from a baby's rattle slowed down to make a drum beat, hence the name and it just stuck.

It was shortened to Brats a few years ago on this very forum. I had registered for the first time as Brattle but forgot my password. I emailed Marcus and he told me, but then I forgot it again! Too embarrased to ask again, I re-registered as Brats. At the time there was a thing about shortening names for some of the long time members. John who was Camperf*k became Camps and replicant became rep, so I just followed suit.

On Live now, most people I meet think I'm a fan of:

Hey, can we have the story about BigNige again?

              My GT is smeethdog.

A guy in my science class started jokingly accusing me of ****ing a dog - which obviously I hadn't, cos I'm not a freak.

Later in the lesson, he started to call me beastiality boy - and then at the end, shouting "SMEEEEEEETH DOGGGG" in a wierd accent as we were leaving class.

So, thats where it came from.. All cos I didn't **** a dog in school.

At least you know how to fix that...if you so choose.

Mines came from an ISS session on the N64 years ago, a mate who was just getting into ISS had a tendency to shout random nonsensical abuse at his players if they underperformed e.g. "Ma players are aw wearin Uncle Scooby Hot Dog Tights". After deciding to start aping him he took the piss out of my defense and banged one in to which I responded with something along the lines of "I'd be better aff wae a ****in' packet ae auld Nisa Biscuits for defense" (Nisa being the cheap & nasty brand of food you tend to find in Glasgow cornershops).

Playing my mate at ISS back then and Pro Evo now was/is always made more enjoyable thanks to such random shouting at hopeless defenders, strikers and goalkeepers.

HumanEnergy - Because I got a free E3 2005 DVD with my Xbox 360 when I bought it from Lik Sang. I watched the J Allard speech and every twenty seconds he'd say something like "Xbox 360 will enable amazing user experiences as it's powered by Human Energy," and various other human energy related stuff. It was so funny and such a load of bollocks that I decided I'd use it for my gamertag

                      My gamerTag is Kevvy Metal.

Kind of boring, my name is Kevin and I like to listen to Heavy Metal.

I use it for everything because i lack imagination. I've tried to get my Ntsc-uk username changed by asking the mods but got no reply

Don Caballero is an american rock band, that are pretty good.

Funniest GT i've heard is more of a funny story than a funny GT. Back in the Xbox 1 days, i played with a dude with the GT - "Tactical Fungus". He cancelled his Live sub and lost the GT.

When he bought a 360 and new live account he went for a different GT, this one called "Tasty Bellend".

What is funny is that he originally entered "Bellend" as his GT but the registration software prompted him that the "Bellend" GT is unavailable and already in use. The software suggested "Tasty Bellend" instead.

                      no ****.

Have been tempted to change mine to "Beef Curtains" a few times but figured it was so obvious it'd never be allowed - not so sure now

LemonSquirtle... Well, Squirtle had gone so let it suggest alternatives. LemonSquirtle popped up, sounded like a washing up liquid which, for some reason, appealed and so I chose it.
