Part 2 of the Retrospective is up. Im playing through this right now, its probably my 100th time. I still love it. After its finished, i will play MGS2 + 3 in prep for MGS4.

the press release just says Sixaxis - the DualShock3 controller features the Sixaxis concept as well... so there's still a chance

The SixAxis is the name of the controller not the concept. The other bundles quite clearly contain a Dual Shock 3 while this contains a SixAxis controller.

They've said on more than one occasion that all SixAxis controllers have been shipped to PAL territories and the newer controller won't be available until they've cleared the older models.

Yes it does. Also if you have backwards compatibility the rumble works with ps2 and ps1 games.
