?7 a game?!?! For what? Did NoE release prices or something?

    Comment

      2000 points= 14 GBP
      2000 points= 20 Euros
      2000 points= 20 USD
      2000 points= 20 Yen

      N64 games=1000 points=?7
      SNES games=800 points=?5.60
      NES games=500 points=?3.50

I think the ?14 for the UK card may have been estimated, so we might see ?14.99 in the UK.

I doubt very much it'd work, the GameCube component cable is plain weird. The console renders digital Component video (Y/Cb/Cr) internally and sends this out a digital port on the back. A chip in the cable then converts that into analog Component video (Y/Pb/Pr) that the TV is expecting.

I guess Nintendo decided to put the expensive converter in the cable rather than make every person pay for it and drive the price of the console up.

Despite this, the quality of the GameCube component output is so much better than the Xbox blur-fest.

In my opinion 7 pounds for N64 games isn't that bad. But 3.5 pounds for NES game is way too much.

Remember Nintendo were recently selling NES Super Mario Bros on the GBA for ?20 or so, so ?3.50 seems cheap by comparison!

Money for old rope, but we'll all buy a few of them at least before the novelty wears off.

If you mean Mario bros 1 it was actually ?15, but remember here you're getting a game, box, inserts, manuals etc. On the Wii you're only getting a rom or whatever. thats all. Tbh I can't see why Nintendo can't just give us Nes games free, greedy bastards!
We bought Mario bros on the nes, then repackaged as a bundle on the snes as mario all stars, then we bought it to play on our gameboy colours on mario bros dx, then we bought it on gba to play on our little gameboy micros. And now they want us to buy it again on Wii! Come on nintendo..

They gave it to us for free on Animal crossing on gamecube but without cheats it was difficult to get.

Also what's with the huge numbers? You could easily knock two zero's off of the points.

                    20 points for ?14
N64 games 10 points, Snes games 8 points, Nes games 5 points.

Or is it so people think they are getting more for their money?

                      Roughly as follows:

                      400 point games = ?3.40
                      800 point games = ?6.80
                      1200 point games = ?10.20

That game was made for the Wii remote. I doubt it's ever going to happen though.

You can't grumble at ?7 for an N64 game IMO. There are some rare games that go for ?20-?30 unboxed still.

Maybe they will start charging 50 points for new Mii haircuts, 100 points for new Mii clothing etc.

I can see it happening, it's just another version of the Xbox Live Gamer Picture

I dont see why so many people are complaining just think people are paying like 3-4 pound for a game like pacman on the 360
