Bloody hell, that looks like a monster to try and install. I'd heard that the PS2 was a nightmare to chip but it looks like we have a new winner.

No, it's pretty expensive even just with the chip alone. I'm totally going for it though as soon as the UK site reopens their installation service. In spite of having two PSPs, I ended up upgrading firmware for various reasons but I totally miss the emulators and the little homebrew games. This chip seems to give the best of both worlds.
