It aint gonna happen unfortunatley. U might see 1 programme ranting about the PS3's high price but that'll be about it. i've never listened to media reviews of console stuff (i remember focus magazine cussing the saturn, one lady on the panel calling the saturn a 'dark and lonely world' - it nearly made me cry
), so again here it's not like it's gonna stop me buying a ds lite.
as for cussing sony, i bet a sizeable few on this very forum will be more than willing to plump for (is that the correct usage?) the high price, maybe even more for an 3L33T jap machine, with super-duper massive wife-stealing stepdown.
besides, we weren't brainwashed by sony and the ps2 - just remember what gaming was like before the playstation.
kinda like in V for Vendetta, when he says "i know WHY you did it - you were afraid, etc...". i would say we only have ourselves to blame but i'd be lying, mainly cos i just don't see how sony 'ruined' gaming.
nowadays i just might hear ppl in the pub talking about psps, pro evo and whatnot. i've never ever heard a mario vs sonic argument in a pub

The day after the infamous Sony conference they were saying on Radio 1 that Sony had just taken all of Microsoft and Nintendo's ideas and slapped a massive price tag on it with the PS3. we have to remember that business is like that - companies are at the top for a while, then they make way for other companies. sometimes a company stays at the top for quite a long while, that's just how it works.
it's like that evolution thingy by that beardy guy - survival of the fittest? now that gaming has become such big business, i doubt companies like nintendo or ms will be on top as they can't claim that 'lifestyle' appeal that sony has, with their numerous other products in different sectors that people will at least know about, if not own.Comment
