not like all 3 are going to be turned on at the same time

Gives me the best of all worlds really - Japan only titles (and cheaper Asian releases) on the NTSC-j machine, games which are released much earlier in the US on the NTSC-u machine and the majority of my buys on the UK machine

There are loads of mistakes on that list. Over G Fighters US does work on a PAL system and Halo US does not.

I can't believe that Japan and Asia are seperate regions. Surely it's the same machine with a different power supply?

So what IS the cheapest place to get a JPN 360? Bit gutted about the recent load of JPN-only titles, wouldn't mind picking one up sometime (hey, my birthday in 3 weeks).

Very true. I'm the same way at the moment with mine. Can't wait.

I have never ordered a brand new console online

                  This will be my first

They're probably not quite as cheap as Yes Asia, but Play Asia seem pretty reliable to me. I've ordered a good 10-15 games from them and haven't had a single delay yet. Everything's turned up within a week despite using the cheapest airmail option. Hmm, I just ordered Bomberman Act Zero from them this morning, so I hope I haven't jinxed that delivery with this post

What type of delivery did you use?

If you used someone like DHL or UPS, I think you're basically guarenteed to pay it. I got mine from Lik Sang and used UPS and ended up paying just over ?70 for my 360 + RR6. I think the price of a Japanese 360 was much higher back then (Dec 05) and I bought a game at the same time so you'd probably be hit for less.

I still think it's worth going for the better delivery options though. You're much more likely to get the import duty, but at least you know the console should turn up quickly and in one piece.

Yesasia if you take into account customs.

It's unlikely that you would get away with it and you'd be looking at ?50 or ?60 I guess.

The horror stories about the 360 are putting me off getting anything but a UK machine, but if I plumped for a Japanese machine, where is the best place to get a UK power supply?

The most expensive way would be direct from Microsoft who will charge 119 euros (according to a post earlier in this thread) but at least you know you'll get it. Other than that, eBay? But you never know when you're gonna get a dodgy trader who takes your money and sends you sod all.

BTW, I could just be very lucky, but I bought a Japanese 360 back in Dec (so it must have been one of the first batch) and I haven't had any problems with it yet, reliability wise.
