Played it for about an hour last night, and nothing struck me as being particuarly special about it. For me, all the cars seemed like they were driving with butter coated tyres.. I dunno.

Also, the graphics.. I thought this was next gen - looked like a slightly beefed up xbox 1 game to me - and to get a noticably low FPS at times - come on man ?_?.

Really like the ragdoll peds though, and holdups are fun.

All the physics seem a bit mishmashed to me - cars flying all over the place, cars randomly stopping when you land on your bumper after a jump.. Cars randomly bouncing back up into the air after hitting the floor.. But then again, it is just a demo, so I can't hold that against it!

Seems like another GTA clone that will have some things better, and some things worse. I'll buy it anyway, just so i can run over pedestrians at high speed.

I think the high 'HP' of the cars in the game would be useful for multiplayer as it going to be taking punishment from 4-5 people shooting at it, if it had a GTA style hit point no body would use the cars.

I found it slightly disappointing; frame-rate was unstable when driving around, there no FPS mode for accurate shooting (I was looking for a GTA style 1 shot gas tank explosion with skill). So far isn?t ?a must have title? for me, it really does depend on how good the multiplayer if I?m to buy it.

I love getting the odd NPC stuck in the front seats of your car when your mowing a load of them down. The ragdoll when theyre stuck in the front portion of your car is just funny. Every time i swerved the body would slide across and the legs would bob casually upside down.

The demo seems like it might be from slightly older code - hopefully the finished article will be a bit more optimised.

Regarding shootin the cars I found aiming at the area where the gas tank is tends to satisfy

Got the Ak-47 yesterday and that just cuts thru the cars and blows them up in no time, Also got molotov cocktails which were rather disappointing although they did look nice.

got into the demo a bit last night, just wondered how you could hold up a store. I like the lack of lock on but is there the ability to aim using a cross hair? It makes it all the more satisfying when going for those head shots.

Also how did you find an AK47. Guuess i need to spend a bit more time with the demo.

How the hell did you get molotovs? Only thing like that I seen in the demo is pipe bombs which pale in comparision.

Ak's are good, got them off of one of the rival gang members if I remember correctly.

They've done a neat job of cloning GTA, they've got it spot on, even right down to the **** framerate.

(cars do blow up, it just takes a *lot* of effort. Go buy some pipebombs, and make sure the bomb lands in the middle of the car. It's pretty impressive when it works, tbh).

Moderately impressed - it's fun, feels a lot like GTA without feeling <i>noticeably</i> poorer. I also really, really like the map, and the fact that you get directions to any waypoint you've set. That's neat.

I guess I am the only one who found it easy to get a car to explode?
It only takes around 2 magazines with the Pistol shooting at the bonnet.

Oh and some gang members hold molotovs, you can find one by beating them to death.

I'm playing it now, not awfully hard to destroy a car!

It takes a few more shotgun shells than I would've thought, but a few pops at the bonnet and boom, up it goes, all in flames.

Well the cocktails where random as fook. I was getting chased by police near the forgive and forget where loads of the Saints tend to be, so i got out of my car to kill the police and one of the fellow gang members threw one at the cop. So i killed him and picked them up, they look really nice but damage wise were disappointing.

The AK you have to leave the demo area for, basically outside the demo area is a basketball court with an AK in the middle that respawns every 15 seconds or so so you can get plenty of ammo. I'll try take a pic of the map to show where it is if anyone wants that.

really dislike this game..

wrong on so many levels... developers must have just thought 'right we can get GTA style sales figures if we just take everything they did, beef up the graphics a lil' and slap a next-gen tag on it before they do ! easy money.
