so really hammered this tonight, won something like 20 of 30 games. Two of which were against honda slappers, it felt great to tear them up. Still pissed off by the constant timeout errors, but on the opposite side of the coin, i only got minor lag in a couple of games, and had a generally fun time of it.

I eventually finished the single player game last night on zero difficulty after 30 odd matches. I cant believe how much they ramped up the difficulty...

Didnt do too bad on online yesterday and won about 20 or so matches. Am getting incredibly ****ed off though with people terminating the game if they lose.

played about 15 games against jassi last night. great fun.

overall i'm on 21/26 which i'm happy about.

so far i've had 2 quitters, although they seem to do it after i've won which is ok (just means i have to wait 15 secs!). i decided to text one guy who did it and he replied saying 'nothing personal, the guys at the top are cheating so i figured i would, too'

i've been playing it with the usb wireless jiminy, gonna try it directly wired to see if it helps with the lag. although having said that the jassi matches were fine (although i was hosting so dunno if that kinda puts things in your favour or not).

what i love about it is it's old skool sf which, while i'm not particularly good at, i know like the back of my hand (distances, animations, etc), so i can hold my own against most of the really good guys, which was definitely not the case with third strike or even hyper sf2

Glad I'm not the only one to get a raping from Mr Phillai.

Spotted the DOA stick in my nearest import store yesterday for about 45 quid, I think it's time to invest in one because I can't play fighters with the 360 pad at all. Thing is I don't have DOA anymore so I'm really only buying it for Street Fighter, so I'll have spent about 50 quid just to play this game, it's like the SNES days all over again.
